Street taste co — Restaurant in England

I’ve been coming here for years since they opened , and the service was good as staff before but today we decided to go there get a ice cream and few other bits I was disappointed with the lady’s service firstly we stood there and the lady behind the corner acted if we was invisible. Then after we made the order she stated it’s cash only so we had around 20 pounds in cash and the bill was 21.50 then she said you can pay 1.50 by card but which don’t make no sense at all ? It seems as she didn’t want to be there or have our custom so we ended up walking away and going to another place down the road great ice cream desserts and Indian snacks but need to sort out your process if you can take £1.50 on card why not take the full payment. So it’s not a cash only business you just take cash or card how you feel . The excuse was that they are changing terminals ? Not happy as we specially came to Belgrave road to have the coconut warter and ice cream with it. Please sort out your payment issues and staff need to be...

Nice little cosy joint known as Street Taste next to Bobbys Restaurant on Belgrave road, Leicester. Accidentally spotted whilst driving so took a little tour and we're super glad that we did!!!

Fresh sugarcane and coconut juice (Indian style) very friendly staff, especially Ronak. He's super enthusiastic and knows his taste well. Very passionate about doing what he does best!!! He'll make you an ice cream from fresh fruits and cream right there whilst you wait.. No artificial flavours nothing added extra, pure taste of what we all like!!! He will tell you about some great varieties of ice creams whilst he prepares what you have ordered and that makes your wait feel like nothing.. Always eager to recommend and answer any of your questions!

I haven't tasted any hot food but I'm definitely going to try out next time!!! Check out some pictures I've uploaded.. Have a nice time when you visit guys!!!

MEDIOCRE FOOD IN A FILTHY ENVIRONMENT. Went in at 12 midday today for the first time. Ordered a Pani Puri, Vada Pau and a Bombay Sandwich.

The Pani Puri filling was cold straight out of the fridge. They could have warmed it up a little. I've had better in Leicester

The Vada Pau was ok. Nothing special. Missing the crunchy garlic crumb so everything was the same mushy texture. No ambi on it if that's your thing and could have done with a bigger flavour punch

The Bombay Sandwich was bland. It was basically a cheese tomato and cucumber toasted sandwich.

I wouldn't return to this place

On a side note the place was FILTHY. Ants crawling on the floor which hadn't been mopped in god knows how long. They had opened at 12 so we were probably the first customers that day. The table hadn't been wiped. There was sticky and dried ice-cream on it. We were sat next to the orange juice machine which hadn't been cleaned in recent times.
