This is another great pub that we found purely by accident but was a cracking find. The beer was on very decent form but unfortunately wasn't a particularly good beer and not to my liking, to be honest the range was quite poor. The food was well cooked and had that home made feel about it, very nice indeed. Is it the best pub in Skipton, no, would i go again 100% yes.

Well....disappointing is an understatement. The girl behind the bar took our order for food...so far so good. Then my wife had her food served (minus cutlery) I mean its not like were civilised and use cutlery to eat fingers are every bit as good. Anyhow further into the saga I am still waiting for my stack pie.... oh that would be the steak pie which they gladly took the order for along with my wife's lasagne. 10 minutes later after my wife's food was served ...apparently they had run out of steak pie and "would you like to order something else" was the offer 🤔 mmm let me think about this for a moment...eh NO I WILL GO SOMEWHERE ELSE ....possibly not the best experience of this pub....who knows maybe on another day they would get it right....but as there are plenty more pubs in the area I won't be...

Best pub in Skipdale by a country mile. I for one have never had a bad pint in there! There is always a good choice of beverage, whether it be a guest ale or your favourite lager. It's a hidden gem in some respects as it sits off the main street. Both Sera & Andrew, as well as the staff, are all very welcoming and friendly. The regulars are always a good laugh also. There is always laughter accompanied by a fine array of music, whether it be from live bands or the Juke box! (as Mr Rose pointed out, volume wise it is non intrusive) The beer garden is clean and spacious and captures the sun's rays beautifully on a fine day. The food is top notch and great value. I'd go as far to say I've had some of the best gravy in my...

Went in after a walk looking for a sit, a drink, and some food. Got a comfy seat outside in the gorgeous little garden and got a drink but unfortunately no food as they now only do food Monday-Saturday. Apart from that, a great little pub! Dog friendly inside and out, clean well stocked toilets (with handy grab rails in the ladies, very appreciated by a stiff and sore sitter), and what looked to be a good selection of drinks, as we had soft drinks, at reasonable prices. It looked to be a popular place as there were lots of folx in on a Sunday afternoon and I can...
