The Beach Hut — Restaurant in England

Great venue and friendly staff, perfect for a seafront view overlooking the water, the only thing I didn't like was the blinds in the windows span 2-3 tables, I was absolutely enjoying the view and sunshine by the window when a table of 4 ladies one table away from us proceeded to close the blinds fully!, plunging mine and my partners table into shadow with nothing but a gray blind next to my face to look at, if you go to a seafront restaurant and don't want to see the seafront and estuary, id book a table away from the window, so that others can enjoy it, it genuinely put a huge downer on what we specifically booked to go there so we could enjoy the view, and I genuinely don't think I'd rush to go again knowing that other people can ruin it for you. However the actual place and staff are great, just don't count on a view if the table next to the blind controls decides to close the blind as again the blinds span a few tables...

Wow... What a Fawlty Towers Experience.

Came with my elderly parents and my husband and once seated we were given one menu to share. I asked for two menus but this was refused. After an hour sat in full sun, my husband had to get out as he was feeling unwell. Unfortunately when putting on his mask to leave, it broke. As he walked past a member of staff to leave, he said his mask had broke and was going outside. This man (could be the manger?)then aggressively said he was being arrogant. After my husband left, this man appeared at our table to harangue us, saying that my husband was the most arrogant man he’d ever met (I was in total shock, I’m glad he was worried about his customers welfare) What a shame, we have been here many times before however will NEVER be...

I'm disabled and they were so accommodating! They have a ramp and a lovely young man (unfortunately didn't get his name) helped me up and down the ramp on my mobility scooter and because it was a quietday they thankfullysaid i couldpark it inside. . He made sure I was able to get to my table safely. The restaurant itself is beautiful and light. The staff are friendly and engaging. The menu has something for everyone, and they are really good at asking about allergies. The fish and chips I ordered were absolutely delicious. The batter on the fish was light and crispy and so flavorful. The chips are so perfectly crisp and fluffy. Some of the best fish and chips I've ever had.
