Creams Cafe Windsor — Restaurant in England

I'm really not too sure to begin this, so allow me to set the scene....

My partner and I were craving something sweet and a bit naughty, saw a few images outside the Creams Cafe here in Windsor and thought that looks spectacular, let's give that a go, so in we walk... all good so far.... sadly this was as good as it got.

Waiting to be seated we see only one table in use, fantastic, we should be added inches to our waists in no time at all... I must also note 4 tables still hadn't been cleared, the member of staff, cheerful chap, okay a chap mumbled a table number, I think he said one and then vanished.

Finally some menus appeared, the cheerful chap still just a chap left us to it. After a few minutes we'd decided on what to eat and went up to order for a equally cheerful lady to say sit down we will come to you... a good ten minutes later she was good to her word and did finally appear. And now we wait

And wait

And wait

I do love waiting...

After about 40 minutes we went up and asked what was going on, three more families had walked in and had ordered and been served in this time, yet still nothing to us, a glass of water, a milkshake, a waffle and a crepe for those interested.

We were then told there was a 30 minute wait, erm don't think so buddy, other had been in and served, we then asked for a refund, and finally got it.

Can I recommend this place, absolutely not, shocking customer service, staff looked miserable, and the tables were dirty. I'd love to give this no stars, but well done Creams in Windsor you saved me adding some inches to my waist.

But seriously management need to be looking into this place, also zero mention from staff asking if we had any allergies, and addressing the issues. I'm sure Lizzy wouldn't be impressed

Reviewed yesterday via mobile The worst experience one can have and even 1 star is far too good for them. Ordered 3 cookie dough and 1 ice cream The ice cream come straight to the table within 5 min, after another 15 gone by I've asked the waitress to take the ice-cream back as it was melting on the hottest day of the year,and requested to bring the complete order as we wanted the 4bof us to eat at the same time. After waitress walking of with the ice-cream I was amused and surprised to get told that due to the situation with covid 19 she is not allowed to take item ordered back and when I've asked her to change the ice cream and at this point the cookie dough still no where to be seen, again she refused and in here own word because the ice cream wasn't defrosted fully. For me it wasn't about the few quid spent but it was tge arrogance and lack of experience on how to speak to costumers and rectify there mistake especially that she was the duty manager I believe. Any how, obviously I didn't want to cause a seanary in front of my family and other dinners and of course I didn't order melted ice cream so I just asked her to bin it and of course she did cold hearted ans as she was walking off she shouted that she doesn't get paid enough to deal with this and I can assure that I did not raise my vouse neither asked any thing other than what I've mentioned on here and if she or as any other member of the staff is reading this, I'll be more then happy to contacted if they think otherwise. Now going forward thus will be my last visit as I will be supporting small individual shops or go to...

We plan to try out this place but unfortunately it was the worst idea ever. No welcoming at the door, waited about 5mins no one came to say anything. So I went up to the counter and ask if there is a self service or someone will seat us. They said someone will come we still waited a few more minutes before that happened. Lady tried to be nice and let us choose a table when another guest came and said it is 8 of them waiting a table a long time ago so I gave my table away. Waitress took us to another table and let us seat there. We checked through with QR code place has no WiFi so we couldn't see what's on menu. My other half ask them if we could get a paper menu to choose from, they said yes. We received 3 menus they were dirty NOT BEEN CLEANED and it stinked( on pictures). But our little girl still wanted some dessert so we picked 3 items. Waited and again waited some one will come and take our order but no one came. We went to the counter and ask them if we could order there, answer was no, some one will come in a minute to take our order. We waited another 10mins also and no one came😣😞 We get up and left the place. Couldn't even get to a dessert how it taste, but I am not even sure about that. CREAMS employees were kids I mean very young people I am not so sure they know what day...
