My first visit to Meimo (pronounced Meemoe) and it certainly won't be my last. I had the Meimo Couscous (that's the one with everything - spicy lamb merguez sausages, succulent chicken breast and steamed vegetables). The plate was laden with plenty of fluffy couscous and all of the above. On the side is a small dish with a wonderful broth with chickpeas and peas. Finally, there is an even smaller dish of a chilli paste. Add as much of this paste as you wish to the broth, stir it up and pour it over the couscous. Finally, give the couscous a gentle stir to help it soak up the broth and you're good to go. Delicious. ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹

My wife had the equally delicious chicken tagine. Served in a traditional tagine dish with lid, the slow cooked chicken came with wonderful prunes and apricots all served with an accompanying dish of couscous. If I hadn't been so full with my own choice, I'd have happily eaten this too.

I washed my meal down with Casablanca beer, all the way from Morocco, whilst my wife preferred a French white from the excellent wine list.

The service throughout was never less than excellent and prices very reasonable (even before Rishi's help with the bill). This restaurant was obviously very popular with families, there were a number who came in with young children, all of whom were delightfully well...

Meimo is an absolute gem in Windsor! From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The Moroccan-inspired decor, soft lighting, and vibrant colors created an authentic and cozy ambiance that set the tone for a memorable evening.

The food was nothing short of exceptional. Every dish was a symphony of flavors, rich in spices and perfectly cooked. The lamb tagine was tender and flavorful, with just the right balance of sweet and savory. The couscous royale was a hearty and delicious dish, and the zaalouk starter was an absolute must-try. Each plate was beautifully presented, showcasing the care and attention to detail in the kitchen.

The service was impeccable. The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations with genuine enthusiasm. They made us feel welcome and ensured everything was to our satisfaction throughout the meal.

Overall, Meimo delivers a fantastic dining experience with its combination of exquisite food, excellent service, and enchanting atmosphere. I canโ€™t wait to return and explore more of their menu. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy Moroccan...

Stepping into this Moroccan gem feels like being transported to a vibrant, aromatic bazaar. The highlight of our culinary journey was undoubtedly the chicken and lamb shank tagine. Each bite was a revelation of flavors so profound. It was our best tagine ever. The meat, tender and succulent, fell off the bone, melding perfectly with the rich, spiced sauce that's clearly been simmering to perfection. The dessert options were portioned right and refreshing. Mint tea was a great way to end our meal.

The service matched the excellence of the food. The staff were not just great; they were exceptional. Attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable without being pretentious, they navigated the evening with a grace that only added to the overall experience.

In a world where dining out can be hit or miss, this restaurant is a definite hit, a place where the warmth of the welcome is only surpassed by the quality of the food. A must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic Moroccan feast even catering to gluten free and dairy free...

Great experience from the first step into the restaurant till the very end. All staff very friendly and extremely attentive but without being too much 'in your face'. Our host was just amazing. Very funny and bubbly, kept joking around with us. Took time to explain in details all the dishes we've ordered. Food itself was delicious beyond description - you just need to try it for yourself! Prices are also reasonable. For two of us we've ordered 5 different mezze: hummus, calamari, briouat spinach, pastilla and prawns pil pil - I loved every each of them! To finish off we've shared Pastilla a la Glacรฉ, maroccan coffee and fresh mint tea. All mentioned above plus 2 pints of peronie for just a little over ยฃ45! We'll definitely be coming back when in Windsor again!

We had Moroccan food few years back, it was amazing and on a special occasion we wanted to try again at an authentic Moroccan restaurant. We were looking for nearby restaurants and this was the highest rated Moroccan restaurant at various websites. We went there for dinner. Itโ€™s not a fine dining experience, but food was good. We tried three different mains. Although I am not an expert in Moroccan food, I found previous experience was better. This time we felt taste was more soupy. Plenty of seating area and mostly were empty. Even outdoor seating available if not cold outside. Parking available roadside - after 6 itโ€™s free, but limited availability. Alternatively Victoria street car parking lot is also nearby. Staffs were friendly and served quite quickly.
