The Blind Swine — Restaurant in England

We recently used The Blind Swine for catering at a wake, and they exceeded all expectations! Although they specialise in takeaway food / sandwiches, they offer outside catering, and we had the food delivered to a local pub that couldn't provide a buffet. When ordering, we were reassured that the sandwiches were huge, and that we shouldn't worry if it seemed like there wouldn't be enough. We opted for the £13 per head option, which included sandwiches and three extras – sausage rolls, chicken skewers, and a sweet treat selection.

We catered for 30 people, but more attended, which caused a brief moment of panic. However, true to their word, there was more than enough food, with plenty left over at the end. Everyone raved about how fresh and delicious everything was. Even the pub's landlady said it was the best catering she had ever seen!

Your own private chef! Michael was recommended to us as a preferred partner to The White Hart, Brigg, and we were not disappointed! What a worker and what amazing portions! We had an opportunity to discuss what we wanted for our two day party and quite frankly, he could do anything we asked. As we wanted a less formal vibe we decided on street food for the Saturday evening and Michael came up with a menu that also included very tasty sides and options for both vegetarian and vegan guests. He also introduced us to his breakfast burritos which were so tasty for our guests Sunday morning breakfast. Micheal and his team’s home dining service is exceptional! We are so glad we stumbled upon this hidden gem!

Micheal is a top chef, and alongside his sandwich shop he also does home dining, which was the perfect choice for us when we wanted a very special and unique experience for a family member who loves food, but due to terminal illness is unable to leave the house.

We booked Micheal to cook a 3 course ‘date night’ meal for our family at home, and what he delivered was absolutely superb! Not only was the food incredible but his thoughtfulness and attention to detail was exceptional. We cannot recommend Michael and his team enough, for both amazing food in his shop in Willerby but also to consider them for adding a special touch to your home dining.
