Had an experience in the pub on Saturday afternoon, sat in a corner where 2 tables were facing the TV with BT sport on, watched the scores coming in then after 30 minutes the bar lady escorted a local man and his son onto the table opposite and proceeded to change channels as the guy wanted motorsports, really rude and ignorant thing to do as we were on our second beer and obviously watching the live football scores coming in, the motor sport wasn't even live it was a race from a fortnight ago. Great night's entertainment with the Foo-Fighter-z. The pub was absolutely packed. The staff coped very well and the wait for service at the bar was minimal.

Bar prices were a little bit higher than some other Newport pubs but considering that there was no entry fee charged to see such a great band I didn't mind at all. Well done all of you at the Crispin. Great night. Definitely worth going for a Pint in there. It did get pretty warm in there with the number of people inside, but you can go outside at the back, to a covered seating area with plenty of room...

Quite liked this pub though hardly any customers on a Tuesday lunchtime in January. Tiled floor, pool table, Isle of Wight Festival posters on the wall, Sid Viscous by the gents.
