We hosted our friend’s baby shower here and everything was absolutely fantastic. I had eaten here a few times before and always had excellent food and a great experience. Even with a larger group they still delivered. They were very accommodating to some changes in group size and us arriving a bit early to decorate. We had a dedicated server, G, who was fabulous and there for everything we needed. The food was lovely as always, some classics but also lots of different options. They clearly think about their flavour and texture combinations to put together some amazing and unique dishes. We had our own private space in the back and all the attendees commented on how excellent everything was. I would absolutely come back to eat or have...

I came here on Sunday with my daughter her partner and my 2 grandbabies. The staff are friendly warm and welcoming, great with children and the food is AMAZING!! Great music and funky interior the service was fantastic, spotlessly clean, love it here. The wild garlic mushrooms on sour dough was fabulous ( well actually everything I have tried on the menu is sooooo good). The babies ate all their brunch which they shared, the portions are very generous. The coffee is smooth hot and delicious. I do get my take out coffee on my way to work most days. If you haven’t been here yet get to the CPJ’s in the square Shrewsbury and try it out, I can’t really recommend anything I have tried on the menu because I have...

Lunchtime stop on a Tuesday in Shrewsbury on our way to North Wales and wanted somewhere for a light lunch. Not only did it tick the dog friendly box, but this cafe appeared both inviting and popular.

We were promptly greeted and seated, the dog got lots of attention from the staff, who quickly became his friends owing to their provision of gravy bone biscuits.

I opted for the Turkish Eggs (Poached Eggs | Garlic infused Greek Yogurt | Harissa Oil | Basil & Pine Nut Pesto | Sourdough Toast), which came in at a reasonable £8.00, it arrived in a reasonable time frame, was well presented and tasted great (perhaps a little too much garlic).

Friendly staff and great service, would definitely...

The coffee is great , the location is great .. But I’m marking down due to this: the chair I sat on ( outside) today collapsed and I fell onto the floor with an uncomfortable jolt - there was a bolt missing from it. The elderly lady on the table next to ours had a freight as she thought I was going to land on her I took the buckled and broken metal chair in to the staff and they showed little ( if any) concern. It turns out that I’m aching, sore and grazed. Those chairs need a full risk assessment before someone a bit less robust has a more serious injury!

Split a pot of tea and cake here as we were going to have a really big dinner. The interior is really bright and inviting even on a rainy day. This place is dog-friendly so we got to watch a very cute dog while enjoying our tea and cake. The cake we had was vegan with a raspberry and rose flavoured buttercream. The texture and taste was impressive for a vegan option - the buttercream was almost like marshmallow. It’s a little pricy but service is attentive and friendly. Loved the use of real plants here. Would come back again if i was in the area.
