We visited The Coffee Pot today on Boxing Day. We drove 65 miles from Workington in the north of Cumbria as it's our nearest Filipino eatery. The Coffee Pot serves a mixture of English and Filipino food, with a range of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages available. The food and drinks were excellent, I've got to admit I've tried some Filipino food before and this time was the first I would actually eat a Filipino dish again. A sumptuous piece of chicken in soup with some beautifully cooked rice. My husband who is Filipino was also very impressed with the food. The Coffee Pot is located overlooking Morecambe Bay and there is a balcony you can sit out on to eat your food. The staff serving were very friendly, nothing was too much for them. The place is very clean and tidy run by a Filipinna who knows how to cook. Prices were very reasonable and they didn't hike the prices just for Christmas either. Five * all the way. Car park to the rear of the establishment. Visit here regularly, it's brilliant.

Ordered off the Filipino menu - tried the Pork Adobo, Mung Beans Stew and Pork Bicol Express. Everything was good flavor wise, but the portions were a little small and underwhelming. Particularly the pork dishes, there were only a few pieces of meat served. Also ordered the hot chocolate and coffee - not sure if it was just for that day, but there was way too much milk added in both drinks. Unfortunately, it was also a rainy day and barely anything could be seen from the windows.

A must visit in Grange over sands or visit to the lakes! You must try their Filipino menu especially the Pork Adobo with melt in the mouth pork and crispy garlic also available for takeaway to your hotel!. Their toasties are also delicious and the coffee and tea was excellent. Views over the bay are stunning from their balcony or windows. Staff are friendly and welcoming 10/10

we visited here and were told to take a seat. over twenty minutes later and still not been served. several staff walked past us and even 1 approached us and said "you still have not ordered yet have you?" then still did not help or ask for any order. we left and complained on our way out. we did not get any explanation for their lack of service. maybe they thought we were there for the view! i would not know if the food was nice or not as i never got the chance to order it!! i could understand if you were busy but the cafe only had 2 tables full other than ours. hello, as for your response to my review, nobody at all said order at the counter. you said "take a seat" . you came over after 20 minutes and said "you still have not ordered" and walked off. what did you think i was there for? did it not occur to you that maybe i did not see the sign? a quick "when your ready to order can you just come to the counter" may have been a good idea. i have over 60 restaurant and cafe reviews on trip advisor, and not 1 is a bad one. i do not give them left right and centre. your response to a review is to just call your customers liars!! maybe try to explain things from your side would be a better option and then they may understand your point of view or see what may have happened and...

We stopped here on a very warm day for a drink and a bite to eat as we saw it was dog friendly. We couldn't sit on the balcony/patio area as previous dog owners had failed to clean up after their dog had a 💩. We didn't mind as the indoor area was cool with a lovely breeze. We ordered a sausage bap and a tuna toastie with a flat white and a fanta. The lady serving was very pleasant and efficient. Other people came in after us with a dog and were miffed they couldn't sit outside. I think she was fair in saying she had made the decision after the 💩 incident and had to treat everyone the same. They were rather rude and walked out after sitting in another side room that was 'too hot'. The toastie arrived and I was a bit disappointed. Hardly toasted and very runny tuna mayo with nothing accompanying it for £7. The bread was your average sliced bread too. The sausage bap was £8. It had 3 sausages and my husband really enjoyed it. Rather expensive but you're paying for the view/location. I would return but I would not order the tuna toastie again. Poor...
