Thyme Out Coffee House & Restaurant — Restaurant in England

We were unfamiliar with the area and so stumbled upon Thyme Out by accident, but I’m really pleased that we did. From the very warm reception and exceptional service from Lucy (I think?!), to the chef popping out to chat with us (she was lovely too!) and ask if we liked the food, everything was perfect! I love Greek food, and this was by far the best I’ve tasted, outside of Greece/Southern Cyprus. The menu provided an excellent choice without being overwhelming; I’m always a bit suspicious when there are too many options, and we could tell this was all freshly prepared. Nothing was too much trouble and Lucy was brilliant at suggesting substitutes for my partner so that he could still enjoy the meze. In fact, she was so knowledgeable, we left our choices to her! Due to bad weather found this little surprise in Grange over Sands. We decided to have lunch in Grange found Thyme out on Main Street. What a find the welcome was warm and helpful the menu large enough for anyone. We had the hot Mexer feta in honey omg has to be tried to be believed no words can do this dish justice we also had the calamari beautifully cooked crisp outside but sooo tender inside the Greek salad was also delicious. It was such a treat to find all you could want in one place you can even pop in for coffee and home made cakes baklava delicious scones unbelievably light and fluffy it was a surprise find but we will return to a five star meal again soon any doubts don’t you will be missing...

If you want to remember all your memories of the holidays you had in Greece 🇬🇷 this is the place to enjoy 😉 yourself. Very well presented establishment with very good facilities and staff. We booked a table before hand and when we visited all the other tables were already pre booked as well and this was a Saturday night 🌙 so is very popular and the reason is the food is excellent. We also had one of the sharing platters as well, as it gives you a good selection of Greek food and yes it is good value for money 💰 . Most of the other tables were trying this as well.
