What a jewel in Filey's crown, superb service, super dog friendly, great coffee selection, cakes and brekkie to die for. Great service staff, friendly, pleasant and smiley. They even have time to say hello to the dogs. Order at the counter and served to the table once ready. Can't recommend this cafe more than this although I shouldn't do that next time there'll be a seat. This is busy so may be a little wait to get a seat inside, that just goes to show how good it is. If you're in the area call in, have a coffee and cake or if you're there before 1130am have a brekkie, you'll be glad you did.

Excellent place, so warm and welcoming with the friendliest of staff. Very busy and I can see why. Lovely atmosphere that made you feel like you were amongst family and friends. Really good coffee in a good chunky-sized mug. Dog friendly. I had a delicious, tasty flapjack. Homemade cakes, breakfasts and additional outdoor seating to the front on the pavement, but under arches so is sheltered. I am definitely visiting here again, because of the lovely staff! Very highly recommended.

Our place of choice when we visit Filey. Lovely & friendly staff, always greeted with a smile. The best place for a coffee...the latte is hot and actually tastes like coffee & not just frothy milk! (A few other places could take note) & the cake is spot on also...delicious! 👍 we didn't have any hot food, though it did look very nice on seeing other individuals orders being served. Thank you, coffee Shed...don't change anything...you are doing a great job.

Had a lovely lunch here today before a walk on the beach - with our traveling circus of twins and a greyhound. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming - they filled up our dog's water bowl and even washed up our toddlers' milk cups and refilled them with water for the walk (they offered!)... Most crucially, we never felt like we were in the way (despite definitely sometimes being in the way 😂)

Simple but tasty food and lovely coffee - including gluten free bread for me (and a slice of GF toffee cake to take away!)

It's so refreshing to be so welcomed despite the large amount of stuff we come with and space we take up!

Plenty of high chairs also, so we didn't feel bad for taking two!

All in all, will definitely be back next time...

First time here and WOW! Really friendly service, nice and clean place with nice big tables. I ordered a bacon and mushroom sandwich and a latte. The bacon was really thick and not salty, it was farm shop quality. The mushrooms were really fresh and nicely cooked. The bread was nice and fresh and really soft. Sauces, salt and sugar were already on the tables. The coffee was nice and strong with a lovely heart shape on the top which was a nice touch. There was a nice selection of cakes to choose from too. A bacon sandwich was £3.00 and a little extra for the mushrooms. For the quality it was well worth it. It was that nice we are all going back tomorrow and probably every day we are here. 1st time we went in we were served really quickly and toasted tea cake and coffee were nice, However we visited again a couple of days later they were busy with regulars by the conversations that were going on. Service was terrible this time I ordered a bacon and egg sandwich with well done bacon and NO butter on the bun however when it came yes the bacon was cooked lovely but there was butter oozing out so I returned this only for 5 minutes later to get a bacon and egg bun that still wasn't right the bacon wasn't cooked enough and the egg was snotty 🤢 I didn't complain again as I think really once should be enough for them to correct and get it right the 2nd time 🙈 if I visit again when in town think I'll stick to coffee...
