From the moment you step through the doors of Coriander in Amersham, you know you’re in for something special. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between elegant and welcoming, with warm lighting, tasteful décor, and a relaxed buzz that immediately makes you feel at home.

The menu is nothing short of outstanding – carefully curated with a wide range of dishes that highlight the depth and richness of authentic Indian cuisine, while also offering unique twists that make the dining experience memorable. Every dish we tried was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. The quality of the food is exceptional – fresh ingredients, perfectly balanced spices, and a real sense of care in every bite.

What impressed me most was how well the team handled dietary requirements. They were knowledgeable about allergies, attentive to details, and made excellent recommendations without ever making it feel complicated. It gave real peace of mind and made the whole evening completely stress-free.

The service was impeccable throughout – attentive without being intrusive, always friendly, and clearly passionate about both the food and the guest experience.

Highlights included tender, melt-in-the-mouth curries, perfectly cooked naan, and vibrant starters that set the tone for the rest of the meal. Portions were generous but refined, leaving us satisfied while still wanting to return and explore more of the menu.

Coriander isn’t just a restaurant – it’s an experience. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion, enjoying a night out with friends, or simply treating yourself to exceptional food, this is a place that consistently exceeds expectations. It’s no exaggeration to say it’s one of the finest restaurants in Amersham, and without a doubt, my new favourite.

We use The Coriander regularly, and have never had a bad experience, and today (Valentines Day) was no different !!!

The Coriander is always my go to Indian restaurant around Amersham . The restaurant is contemporary and laid out beautifully, the staff are excellent, friendly and attentive but the food takes this brilliant restaurant to another level !!

I’ve tried many different curries, but always try and have something different when I can . More recently I’ve favoured their incredible Tandoori Sea Bass or fabulous Lamb Chops Massala , but this evening decided to try a different curry , and went for their Jingha Balchou which is a medium hot , sweet and sour curry with the most sumptuous Butterfly King Prawns and fresh mushrooms ……Simply one of the best curries I have ever had !!

My wife who is vegetarian had the Paneer Korai which she said was equally as good, full of flavour and beautifully presented

Add in the Mushroom Bhaji , which is not a traditional bhaji, but the most flavourful mushrooms in a stunning sauce , wonderful garlic naan and a couple of decent drinks , and it all made for an absolutely fabulous experience once again !!

Being Valentine's Day , the tables were covered in faux rose petals , but unlike the majority of restaurants they don’t take advantage of the day and bump up their prices , yet still presented my wife with a lovely wrapped single rose at the end !!!

The only surprising thing, is that given all the above, the restaurant was not packed to the hilt , which was a shame , as they deserve all the accolades they get !

This is hands down one of my favourite Indian restaurants. The food is absolutely amazing: rich, flavourful, and clearly prepared with care and authenticity. Every dish I’ve tried has been full of depth and perfectly spiced.

The service is consistently great. The staff are friendly, attentive, and always make you feel welcome. They’re also helpful if you’re not sure what to order and happy to guide you through the menu.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting—perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or family. There’s a real sense of hospitality here, and you can tell the people running the place care about the experience.
