First time trying a pastie so was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately I found this disgusting hair in my pastie, and you can see this hair in the photos attached. Really disappointed and this has put me off of having another pastie anytime soon. I know it's not the most uncommon to find a little hair in your food, however it's still not nice to see. Also the hair was not a little one, it was rather long as it was holding together two separate bits of the pastie together, as you can see in my photos. I'm sure this isn't a common issue, so I'm not going to say to anyone not to go here, as I know Cornish pasties are very popular, but please just be wary...

We were determined to try the best cornish pasties in Cornwall. After exploring Tintagel castle, we bought some pasties from here to enjoy on the tables outdoors in the sun. Loved the thai chicken, cheese and onion, vegan cauliflower and regular chicken. All of them were delicious. We also tried the butterscotch drink too. Was sweet so we shared it amongst all. The pasties were super delicious. I suggest packing them and having it at the castle while exploring. We had a good time.

Cute little bakery and a landmark to the Tintagel haven. You take a left here and walk down to the beach or the famous Tintagel castle. The bakery goods sold here are fresh and absolutely delicious. The almond cherry croissant is to die for and I had made it a habit to have this for breakfast every morning. Put on a good few pounds thanks to it šŸ˜‚ There’s a bench right in front of it which has the famous sword of King Arthur inscribed on it. That’s it’s own little Easter egg

I just want to start this off by saying that the food here is really lovely. However, my experience was really ruined by the customer service. I got served by a lady with pink hair and eyeliner who, from the beginning, was very blunt and not very welcoming. I understand that working in hospitality can be very long (as i also do) so i brushed this off that she might just be having a bad shift. I asked for a caramel iced latte, and after a few minutes, heard her calling out a caramel latte (which was hot). Initially I didn’t think it was mine as it didn’t have ice, however she called it again whilst looking at me so i got up to go get it. Once up there i saw her turn to her co worker and say something mean directed towards me under her breath, to which her co worker (a slightly older woman) began to laugh whilst looking at me. Now i’m only 16, and am not confrontational at all so tried to ignore it and just stated that i asked for an iced latte not a hot one. She then sneered multiple times and told me that she could remake it if i REALLY wanted her to. I felt bad as it seemed like she truly couldn’t be bothered to remake this latte so ended up taking the latte and leaving. I think this bakery is lovely however this experience left me feeling really uncomfortable and that maybe this worker needs to be trained more as she has a severe attitude problem and...

The Cornish Bakery exceeded my expectations with its delectable array of pastries, aromatic coffee, and savory pasties. The pastries were a symphony of flavors, each one freshly baked to perfection. The coffee, robust and aromatic, complemented the pastries perfectly. What truly stood out was the delectable range of pasties – from traditional Cornish pasties to inventive flavor combinations, they were a savory delight.

Meg, one of the dedicated employees, deserves special mention for her exceptional service. Her friendly demeanor and helpful attitude added a personal touch to the experience. Furthermore, kudos to Justin for his adept management skills. The bakery operated seamlessly under his guidance, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

In summary, the Cornish Bakery not only tantalizes your taste buds with scrumptious pastries, coffee, and pasties but also delivers outstanding customer service. A visit here is a culinary journey guided by the expertise of the staff, making it a must-visit for pastry...

Had the unfortunate pleasure to visit The Cornish Bakery in Tintagel yesterday (Monday 6th Aug) Staff were not helpful and could not offer an alternative to strawberry Jam as I am allergic. So we decided to buy our scones and tea anyway. (Without jam) As we went to sit down all the tables and seats inside the cafe were covered, and i mean covered in food and crumbs. I had to wipe it all onto the floor so we could sit down. As we were eating a gentleman came back in to the counter and asked if it was possible to warm up the Pain Au Chocolat he had purchased. To which he was rudely told that "the ovens are for Savoury only". No sorry or an offer to assist. Another staff member was yelling to another member of staff across the cafe. We were very disgusted so we got up and walked out without finishing our drinks and scones. Horrible experience and will not be visiting any of these cafe's...
