The customer service received by the server was unacceptable. My daughter has severe allergies. We do not expect everywhere to cater for us or be able to or to be safe but to be even refused to be given the information in the first place to make an informed decision seems intentionally unhelpful and dangerous. We were met with refusal of even checking ingredients and a blanket statement of there’s no nuts, without even asking what our daughters allergies were. The answer of “you can see it’s no nuts” when I asked what the cones were covered in, I asked because it did look like nuts. No offer to use a new scoop actually the refusal to do this or wash a current one despite there being a sink right behind her. And the refusal to open a new tub which I said I could check the ingredients on as she was unwilling to tell me and she also refused that. We left not before spotting a scannable allergy menu which not once did she point us in the direction of and would have saved her having to deal with the questions we asked and that she was so unwilling to answer. At this point we didn’t feel safe to risk eating here anyway. This ladies customer service left a small child feeling like a hinderance and in tears and other customers saying to us as we left how terrible she had behaved. This behaviour and service was unacceptable, unnecessary, rude and actually dangerous because it could put someone’s life at risk if they were willing to accept her shoddy attempt at allergy information and procedure. Just appalling and such a shame to be associated with such a well known brand. Really hope this lady is given some allergy training to avoid giving incorrect and misleading information which could possibly end quite dangerously or...
