Among the best espressos/coffees I have had in Falmouth and a wide selection of baked goods (From traditional Cornish Pasties & Brownies through to morrocan chickpea pasties, pasteis de nata, pistachio cake slices...). I particularly recommend getting a croissant from them in the morning, fresh out the oven is hard to beat! (weekdays at 8, weekends at 9 I believe) The coffee as mentioned is good, and they have a variety of syrups and (I believe) alternative milks on hand. In my experience any questions/special requests are handled excellently. Becks and the rest of the staff are always happy to help 👏 (I have been here numerous times at this point, I review after multiple visits where possible to leave the fairest reviews)

I’ll be honest, I’ve not had a pasty before — though I see them just about daily — and probably won’t again. The staff was friendly and helpful but it just wasn’t my thing. We ordered the traditional (beef and potatoes), a vegan and a Thai chicken. Wasn’t a fan of the Thai chicken as I thought it was bland for the flavors it should have had. The pasty crust overwhelmed everything which meant there wasn’t much room for the filling. The vegan one was so sweet and over the top though it’s supposed to he savory. My strawberry lemonade was mostly ice cubes (which I didn’t even want) with very little liquid. It was carbonated as well. As far as pasties go this might be good but I didn’t think so.

I saw many people go with the same paper bags eating something, I found out that it was the Cornish Bakery's bags. Of course I stood on the and of the line waiting for my turn. I didn't know what to order, so I asked, as I usually do: "What is the most popular dish here?" Sure enough, the guy behind the desk pointed out on empty trays and mentioned some pasty's name. the only ones left was vegiterian and another kind. I choose the vegi. It turns out to be Filled with an Indian flavour. It was GREAT!! One of the best backed dishes I have tasted. It deserves the title The best in the world which is written on the window.

As a Falmouth local who lives in the heart of town, I am spoiled for choice when it comes to places to eat and drink, and I can say with absolutely certainty that the Cornish Bakery is the best place in town. They have a great variety of food and beverages, and have such a brilliant array of Cornish pasties that I've become accustomed to simply asking for a random flavour because whatever they give me, I know it will be wonderful!

All of the staff, without exception, are wholesome, beautiful and friendly people! No matter who is there on the day you visit, you'll be greeted with a smile and you can be guaranteed that whatever you order, it will be prepared with love and care. Whenever I visit, I consistently leave with my day improved! You can get food and drinks to go, but if you want to take the weight off your feet, it's also a lovely place to is chill out in... and if you're lucky enough to get a window seat, they have great views of the harbour!

The food and drinks are reasonably priced, and the smiles and good vibes are free! I very much recommend a visit if...

if you want to feel unwelcomed then come here! I was visiting my friend in Falmouth this weekend, we decided to get a pastry early on Saturday morning, the first barista that served us was lovely and we got into conversation with him however... when we sat down and started to eat our pastries we were approached by another worker... well have never been so confused how someone could be so ridiculous. He came over and very rudely interrupted asking if we had paid for the eat in or takeaway cost ( we actually never got given the option!) so to which I responded that we weren't sure as we simply ordered and paid and found a seat also must note there were lots of other spare tables ) at this point he told us that we had to leave or queue up and pay the ÂŁ0.50p difference. I understand that there are costs but when you arn't given a choice and then spoken to so rudely and then being kicked out it comes across...

If I could I would give this place a zero rating. We popped into the branch with high hopes after seeing the excellent reviews. As a visitor to the town, i wasnt even spoken to properly or greeted nicely. The shop worker was too busy chatting to her colleague. As a person who follows a halal diet i noticed that the veg pasty was touching the sausage meat on the other pasty so i asked if they had any in the back. She said no so abruptly. So i went on to say I will visit again tomorrow she said OH THEYLL BE EXACTLY HOW THEY ARE PLACED NOW. I felt highly upset and walked out of the shop. I feel i was treated like that because of my hijab- the shop assistant was talking to the rest of the customers very happily. Will never recommend this...
