racist staff. worst dining experience of my life, on my birthday.

upon arrival we were seated by a lovely young girl. a few minutes after an adult lady with a bad attitude (potentially the manager) came to the table and said ‘you can’t just sit down you havnt booked’ in a very confrontational manner. which was weird but we brushed it off. after 25 minutes a drinks order was taken, my drink arrived 10 mins after this. the last drink to arrive was 1 hour after we were seated. whilst we waited an eternity for our four drinks i went outside for a smoke, it just so happened the chef came out at that time too.. who proceeded to pace back and forth frantically on his phone organising a ‘drop off.’ yet it gets worse. my brother seemed to be being treat awfully and ignored by the staff, he asked for another drink and the waitress turned her back on him and asked me to order any more drinks. when it came to paying the bill, again my brother was ignored and the waitress turned away from him again, she even refused his use of the card machine and asked me to do it for him. whilst we were eating our mediocre meal in a restaurant that only had 3 tables in, we watched them refuse entry to 3 groups of young men. all of these groups included at least one mixed race person. it suddenly clicked. this a racist establishment, there are many reviews on all different sites about how people have experienced racism in this restaurant. the unkept, brash, poor excuse for a waitress seemed to be instructing the much younger waitresses to refuse service and purposely leave us waiting. literally anywhere in blackpool is better than this place. avoid at all costs

edit - just remembered after we left i checked the reciept and they’d applied a tip! £10! without even...

The first time we came here it was absolutely amazing. This time it was like we stepped into another dimension. The greeter showed us to our seats and told us someone would get us our drinks. Nobody came back to our table. They started taking orders from people who entered the restaurant after we arrived and still no drinks, let alone appetizers. I literally had to stop one of the waitresses walking past our table after she took yet another order from a couple who arrived well after we did.

We finally just ordered our drinks and meal at the same time in fear we might not have another wait staff come back to our table for another 30 minutes.

The steak tasted amazing just like we remembered however I ordered a sirloin steak and a third of it was fat. The waitress took it back to the chef and the greeter came back with an attitude insisting it was a sirloin when it obviously was a very fatty ribeye steak. I finally insisted that he talk with the chef who had seen the leftover fat from the steak. They did comp the drinks for us but it doesn't make up for the poor service and attitude we had to put up with. Even after my wife left a review the reply was as rude as the staff that night. Needless to say we will not return even though they are one of only a few steak houses in Blackpool. Come back with a rude reply to me and make up some more excuses for the unprofessional and rude service and behaviour your staff demonstrated that...

Had a reservation for The Eating Inn and called and asked could I bring the time forward as we were all starving. Dealt with by Lucy who said it was no problem and as agreed arrived to find our table ready and we weee greeted warmly by the Staff and made to feel really welcome. We have eaten here before and are never disappointed by the experience and again this proved to be the case. Service was exemplary and the right side of being attentive without being intrusive. We were a family of 3 and we all ordered starters, which were delicious and quickly devoured. After that our mains arrived and my wife went for the Seabass and told me it was the nicest one she’d ever had (and she can be quite picky!) so I knew it was good. I went for the homemade Chicken Kiev and this is what you call a proper Kiev, not some shop bought rubbish! Plenty of Chicken ( a whole breast ) with wonderful buttery mash and garden peas making the whole dish exemplary and my daughter had the kids Chesseburger meal with chips and beans and again ate the lot. Got talking to Andy about the Steaks they offer which look absolutely divine and what a great guy he is. Explained about how they prepare and then cook the steaks and we were amazed. I strongly urge people to go and visit here and sample the fresh home made food, it’s well worth it. We will be back for my birthday if not before - thanks to Andy, Lucy and the Team for doing such...

What an amazing place this is. I always enjoy coming here and my visit on Monday the 20th of May was no different. Always welcoming staff who can provide a class service. We were sat promptly by the lovely waitress who gave us a pick of tables. She was very warm, friendly and efficient. The menu is amazing, there's something for everyone. I opted for a cocktail, which, to my surprise, was hand shaken. Quite the rarity in a normal blackpool restaurant. I had the raspberry mojito, which was amazing, and my partner had a latte. We shared a hummus and sourdough bread to start. The bread came warm, and the hummus was lovely. My partner opted for the surf and turf cooked rare, and I enjoyed a 6oz fillet steak cooked med rare. Both were cooked to perfection. As sides, we had the garlic butter, red wine jus, and a portion of filthy fries. For good measure, I ordered a strawberry daiquiri with my meal, which, again, was just amazing. Every bit of our food was delicious, and my partner agreed. Every time I've dined at the eating inn, it exceeds my expectations. It's a credit to the area, and I will be enjoying many more meals to come. The eating inn is THE steakhouse of blackpool as a local I will never suggest anywhere else.

We come to Blackpool for our 4th anniversary. I said to the Mrs please, are you OK with steak but from a proper steak house. Yes she replied. Found this place on Google search. We went in, in person to book to get a feel for the place. Lovely welcome even though we were just in there to book a table. We went in to eat on 30th October 2024. From the time we stepped foot in, the experience continued to be outstanding. It wasn't just ine member of staff, if was the whole overall team who made it perfect. I had the 8oz sirloin with a side of house salad. The Mrs has lasagna. We also had both choices of garlic bread. Food was outstanding and service continued to be outstanding. Nothing and I mean nothing was too much for this amazing team. Don't walk past knowing you've read this and not going in. Just don't even think about it. Go in, experience it for yourself. You pay for quality and quality is what you get. I don't tip but I tipped £20 for the team. A message to the manager, what ever you're doing, DO NOT change. Staff are amazing. Also, lastly, I mentioned to a member of the team I've been to Marco Pierre White in birmingham, the cube. This place in Blackpool was better than Marco's in my opinion. Thanks again.

"SCAMMERS", they seemed friendly, the food deserved 4 stars, but in the end I wanted to vomit because they were so shameless, as you can see that we were tourists and we spoke little English. As seen in the photos of 2 Erling's menu 3 Courses £20.00 per person, we consume separately; a bottle of wine £34.00, two coffees £4.00, 1 King Prawn £9.00 extra that we ordered separately with starters, they cost us £102.50 (photo) and there were many things included, we discussed the values and they made another receipt for £98.50 (photo) that was still SCAMING us on our face,.... we continued arguing and they were for next calculations not worth £95.50, the third time I no longer felt like arguing, I felt offended and scammed without knowing what to do, I preferred to pay so as not to complicate things, (I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION FOR ANYONE, SCAMMERS, LACK OF RESPECT WITH CUSTOMERS) I am not the first to complain, there are more comments than when you have the opportunity They make them, I'm waiting for you to tell me what happened.
