Skyscreamer was definitely worth it!
If you’re looking for an adrenaline-pumping experience in Blackpool, Adrenalin Zone is the place to be! Offering high-intensity rides and extreme challenges, this spot is perfect for thrill-seekers who want something beyond the usual amusement park rides.
The highlight for me was the Skyscreamer, a massive slingshot ride that launches you into the air before free-falling back down like a bungee trampoline. It was terrifying but absolutely exhilarating!
For something slightly less extreme, the Revolution 360 is a must-try—it spins you fast and high, delivering an intense, high-speed thrill. The Zip Wire is another great attraction, giving you stunning views of Blackpool Beach while zipping across at high speeds.
Since I had already visited Pleasure Beach the day before, I mainly wanted to try the Skyscreamer before heading home—and it did not disappoint! The staff were fantastic, providing clear safety instructions and answering any questions I had before the ride. I also appreciated that they allowed me to ride solo, so I could capture photos and videos for social media—which was a great touch!
One minor critique is that some attractions can be quite pricey, especially if you want to try multiple rides. However, for the sheer thrill alone, it’s well worth it!
Overall, Adrenalin Zone is a must-visit for adventure lovers looking for extreme experiences in Blackpool. If you’re up for the challenge, I highly recommend...
Read moreI wanted to go on a ride. People were friendly enough but the rides were ran by young people and their attitude seemed to be......if we dont know what to do just hide & say I dont know if thats allowed.
My normal experience on a fairground is that if there is a way to do it..I tell the staff what works for me as a disabled person and they trust me that if we do it that way everything will be fine.
Basically the wheelchair user needs to park up and go to the nearest seat to get on. Then they need the ride to be shunted around so when they get off they are as near to their wheelchair as possible. So rides that go round and round..its very easy to do this. If the wheelchair user is saying they can walk those few steps to that seat and having seen the ride in motion they feel it wont be too much....dont run away or chicken out. Let them go on the ride and do the shunt at the end. You will have made them have one of the greatest moments of their life. Please give them that moment. If there is a problem with your fears..then prepare a disaclaimer form and ask them to sign it. Then you can feel more confident...
Read moreWe visited on a sunny Sunday evening in April and went on the Sky Coaster twice and the Sky Screamer twice. Both rides were brilliant and offer a different rush. The staff were very very friendly and helpful. We felt safe and were given good instructions. We did the Sky Coaster first. It is a giant swing 120ft tall. It can take 1-3 people each time. You get lifted to the top of a launch tower then one of you pulls the cord to release. You then free fall a short distance before swinging across the pier then out over the sea at speeds of up to 80mph. If you look up to the sky before you release, it makes the drop more intense. The second ride is The Sky Screamer which is a reverse bungie that catapults you into the air at 150kph in 2 seconds. Again this can seat 1-3 people per ride. It offers an equally intense but very different experience to the Sky Coaster so I would recommend going on both rides. A DVD of your rides is also available for a...
