The best breakfast I've ever had. We stayed in Blackpool for the night with my dog and was recommended the Pit Stop cafe by a local. Well thankfully we gave them a visit. The food was so nice. No scrimping on the ingredients with cheap sausage! Ted had his doggy breakfast too. He doesn't eat scrambled egg at home but he demolished the lot in seconds. We deffo recommend giving them a try. And take your dog too, they love them to visit :) we will deffo be going back next time we are local.

The staff are really friendly,kind,polite and very very welcoming, I've never in my life experienced such kindness in a cafe before. The lady who served me offered me extras as I don't like mushrooms, she brought out a highchair for my little girl and set it up. I would definitely recommend this cafe. The food was lovely my favourite was the sausages and hashbrowns. It also has a dog menu and welcomes dogs.

Was great service and excellent food. I asked for a healthy breakfast and they advised me about what was best on the menu. They even had low cal spray and told me how everything else was made. They have a variety of teas including decaf and fruit.The lady was very patient and helpful. My friend had a vegaterian breakfast and she enjoyed it.

Review of Sarah and Grundy gallery

After a long journey from London to Blackpool South via Preston to visit the New Contemporaries exhibition at the wonderful Grundy Gallery (next door to the central library) we stopped off at the highly regarded South Shore Pit Stop Cafe. We were not disappointed. Sarah (owner) greeted us with warmth and generosity. Her positivity, kindness and patience towards her patrons was astonishing as was the food. We both indulged in cheese and tomato omelettes with bacon, chips and a healthy portion of salad. Which I drizzled with salad cream, much to the disappointment of my condiment resistant friend (that’s another story). Throughout this engaging culinary encounter we discovered that Sarah was a force for good and was wholeheartedly invested in the wellbeing of the community . We felt like we made a new friend today who could fill your day with warmth, captivating and honest stories, whilst enjoying some tasty grub. Thank you Sarah and the team at South Shore...

we only went in as it was close and open. we left very happy. food is amazing and really good for money. vegetarian options like no other place in Blackpool. me and my partner were travelling with our 2 autistic children, and the staff were amazing and very patient taking our breakfast order. were left so happy we decided to go back for lunch. and again staff were very accommodating with our order as things needed to be changed and arranged in a certain way.

Amazing place, the food is great and prepared with so much care! Great prices and most produce is from local butchers not frozen! The place is so welcoming to anyone and caters to really fussy people or those with sensory disabilities, right down to cooking things on separate equipment. They have lots of gluten free and diet options. Above all the staff are amazingly friendly and helpful.

They are also supporting the community and local schools doing fundraisers etc (donate items if you can!). They definitely go the extra mile; not just providing good food, but supporting and developing...
