We hired the space upstairs to celebrate my 30th birthday. Jade, Helen and Tony were so helpful and made everything really easy.

We chose the grazing board for the catering and we're really impressed with the quality, variety and freshness of the food. It was a really good option for vegetarians and carnivores alike.

We really liked the decor of the room and the flexibility of the venue to decorate the space to our liking with balloons and banners etc. We made use of the Bluetooth speakers to play music via our phones.

Helen looked after us in the evening and was so caring and welcoming. She even helped us to take a group photo which was really appreciated, and kept popping up to make sure we had enough drinks. Jade was so responsive and helpful over email and professionally dealt with any questions we had.

Went to the pub for a Sunday roast with wife and 5 friends. It was a cold, wet day so we all had winter coats on. We had to keep our coats on while we had a drink in the bar because it was so cold in there. We went up to the dinning room hoping it would be warmer but it wasn't so we had to eat our meals with coats on. There was plenty of food on the plates, perhaps a bit too much, but overall the roasts were good. I had the vegetarian option, a Mediterranean tart but it was served with all the veg from the roast and gravey which was completely...

My first visit back in yonks since refurbishment etc. Had heard good things from friends. No Sunday roast, BBQ day today. I'm still a bit stunned at what I got for what I paid: £7.60 glass of wine, £9.95 for a small 'hoi sin burger with Asian slaw', literally all it was, as advertised but I guess we all expected more for the price- no sauce, no salad and the filling was an over deep fried reconstituted cutlet of breaded chicken. Then a little cardboard dish of equally excessively deep fried fries... £4.95! Below average food for above...
