My dog Callie absolutely loves dragging me into The Hound Hut whenever we are in Rochester High Street to see all her favourite members of staff and inevitably get a treat and lots of fuss! This was a big decider in us choosing to use the grooming services of Tatiana in the shop as my dog is already happy in this environment. She was so helpful to me in giving me the right information to make the best choice for Callie and her cut (which was never offered to me before with previous groomers). Tatiana was very reassuring, informative and professional and Callie's cut is lovely and precise. The most important thing is that Tatiana has a great manner/approach with dogs - loving and calm. Very lovely place, we visited about a week or two ago. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is so much amazing stuff there, it was hard not to buy everything. The design is very interesting with the toys hanging from the ceiling. They recommended us a toy that they said they believe won’t rip up easily and that dogs usually can’t rip it up so fast as normal toys, I was a bit unsure about what they were saying because my dog rips up everything very fast (in a space of a day) but this toy is still here and isn’t ripped up, a tiny bit of it looks like it was pulled a little bit but otherwise the toy is withstanding everything well. This is Lola’s favourite place in the world. She loves coming here for her favourite treats and a fuss from all the staff. All the staff make you feel so welcome and they clearly love their job and all their customers. Making time to fuss every dog that walks through the doors and chat to their owners. With the added addition of the grooming salon there is no need to go anywhere else which makes my dog very happy.
