Great atmosphere, friendly bar staff and locals. Big beer garden, pool table. Live singer was good, played a range of indie classics and some of his own original music. Great to give the young lad experience. Good range of draft and bottled refreshments. Got local walking and shopping tips from staff and patrons. A lot of young adults but that didnât bother us.    Read moreFantastic pub, Ben the landlord has a great sense of humour and allowed us to try an ale before purchasing it! All the ales that we tasted during our visit were lovely and fresh!
The building itself is large and stunning with a large seating area to the rear. The pub is a period property with three or four different area/rooms (including games room).

All the customers seemed friendly as well! Hopefully see you again soon when we are visiting this way!
A must pub to visit all!!

Overall, a warm and friendly place thatâs well worth a visit. Will...
