The Kingswood Colliers - JD Wetherspoon — Restaurant in England

Normally (pre covid) we have good service at the Kingswood Colliers. Food is always lovely and well worth a little visit.

However we went for breakfast on Saturday morning and ordered via the app - wish we hadn't bothered to be fair. Decaf tea is available on the menu but on the app, only normal tea was available. I wrongly assumed you would be able to ask the lady/get it yourself at the tea point, but I was just brought a normal tea and then had to go help myself to milk and sugar at the tea point (where there were decaf tea bags).

Secondly we ordered our breakfasts and when they came out they were all missing sausages. When I asked about it, they said their meat machine was broken so we were given a slice of bacon instead. If we had known we wouldn't be getting the sausages we would have gone somewhere else.

Poor service on this occasion. Communication was minimal. Hoping for...

What is happening to this place? We have been in kingswood for 5 years and have seen the place get worst and worst. I understand busy times the food might take longer etc but that's not it. It's unclean no one knows what D10/ enbac is, you place orders with out something and still get it. Last night I ordered a place of food I didn't receive, but could have had 3 different people's orders which came to my table! Finally after 3/4 hours, having asking twice for our meat to be well cooked and still coming back with blood and missing my mushrooms and butter on both plates and we asked for a refund. On a plus side the manager/duty manager was lovely and refunded us. We left our drinks as well as they were part of the meal deal. Think it was a bad night people around us 3 different tables said the same. Oh well more room for other people now as we are not going near that...

This Place is dirty dirty dirty The seating areas and tables are filthy. Dirty plates left on the tables for far too long? Smoking area out the front is vile the toilets stink and are also filthy. I don’t expect much as it is very cheap but I do expect my order when I order on the app? I ordered and the funds came out of my bank straight away sat for ages waiting so decided to go up to the bar and ask what is going on. I was told they have no order and it’s my bank’s problem as it’s pending so they can not offer me a refund I showed the manager proof that the money came straight out my bank again she refused to do anything about it and questioned if I ordered for a different weatherspoons? Yea of course I did 🫣 Poor service my advice do not use the app. Please see...
