Still on the hunt for Bristols best pizza and this time it’s taken us to a small chain takeaway spot, fireaway pizza. Unsure what to expect here but from outset I thought it could be a gem, good pizza oven, restaurant clean tidy and looked very smart all in all. Ordered a “meat head” pizza and margarita pizza - as you know getting a margarita is key to knowing whether pizza is any good or not! And also some bbq chicken strips on the side, this cost just a little over £20 which I thought was pretty good value! Let’s talk pizza - well generally overall disappointed tbh, frozen pre bought dough it would seem, cheap cheese and toppings. Undercarriage did have a nice char to it, but overall dough was flavourless and tough, not light and airy as you want from pizza! The tomato Passata base lacked any depth or seasoning and did not cut through the cheese or toppings with any acidity. And the cheese was tasteless without any creamy and nutty flavour again low quality products. All in all a pretty bad pizza if you’re into seriously good pizza this is not the place, the value for money is here tho, if it’s a dominos vibe you’re after this place is certainly better then dominos, it’s cheap it’s cheerful and plenty of options. BBQ chicken strips as expected, pre cooked store bought chicken warmed up and bbq sauce over the top with some crispy onions really nothing to shout about. Overall I’m have to score this visit a 5.5/10. It’s not the worst ever pizza I’ve ate but it’s very midrange without any real flavour and dough has really let it down here for me.

Heard good things about Fireaway... Thought try this new branch out - Pizzas came burnt, Very cold and very dry. Complained and the person on the phone was not taking the complaint seriously. They thought it was a joke - The staff could just about speak english.. After my bad experience i wont be returning or reccomending this place. Proper let down. Email will also be sent to headoffice. (See pictures of the pizza they claim was not burnt, The pepperoni was like a poppadom) Responce To Owner - The pizzas shouldnt have left like that its clearly visible the pizza was not charred as claimed, The pepperoni was burnt (rock solid) not slightly burnt. - I strongly advise you to sort your customer service out because the person on the phone was rude and thought its a joke.

We ordered for collection on a Tuesday afternoon - We arrived early and even so our pizzas were ready at the exact time we'd previously been told. Local looks clean and looked after, the staff were really focused and I was amazed at the pace they were keeping considering how hot it's been this week. Ingredients looked really fresh and properly stored as well. The only reason I'm giving 4/5 is because I wish there was a little more variety for vegetarian toppings. I would've loved to be able to get some feta cheese. Much better than Domino's and it's by a landslide (Much better quality/price). If you're hesitant to try them, go for it! You're missing out otherwise 🍕

Never heard in whole world anywhere that you need to wait 1hour 47 minutes to get a pizza !!! Then when you get it delivered it’s so cold and so tasteless . This brand is not going to last long in Bristol . I believe Fireway pizza head office need to check on this place as they have ruined this brands reputation . Last time we had food poison . I request anyone order from here please be careful about their laced of hygiene and under cooked pizzas . Not to mention , do not order if you are hungry as you may get it after 1:47 minutes if you are lucky . Used to order every week’s and food was great but since last 6 months it’s gone so bad it’s not even edible anymore . But taught they may get better so kept trying but now I had enough of this rubbish, this is my last time and will never order again and anyone order from...
