Boswells — Restaurant in England

Nice food and drink options (hot and cold), I can confirm there coffee and full english breakfast is very nice indeed. Staff are friendly and helpful Pricing is a little high but it is worth the extra cost.

I do wish the cafe was a bit bigger because it does get very busy in there due to its popularity but there isnt anything that can be done about that... During good weather periods you can seat outside which is nice to do some people watching and just let the busy shopping area carry on bustling by while you enjoy a nice tea/coffee and a nice cake.... what more could you possibly want from a cafe.... a coffee to takeaway as your in a hurry I hear you think... they have you covered takeaway is also an option for a lot of what they offer.

So would I recommend Boswells? In short yes there is nothing wrong with any aspect of product or service... are there better options I suppose it depends if cost or branding play a part in your decision.... yes there are other options e.g costa coffee... subway... wetherspoons... Gregg's... Parsons bakery to name the biggest options... personally I would recommend trying Boswells worst case you return to a big brand name best case you have found your new place to go in kingswood... medium ground you go there to treat yourself...

I have always loved Boswells breakfast but I have noticed poor customer service recently and thought this was due to the cafe being a busy one. I have had my order (extra toast) forgotten on two occasions recently but today was the height of it. My food was served by a lady with black hair and black head band, and as I was eating I found black hair in my food (see pictures). I let her know and she said she will speak to her manager, shortly after a lady came and dropped some cash on my table without any word, I said I do not want the money and she walked out!! No apology or comment, I do not need the money, your staff should be careful when preparing food, I wanted to offer advise that those preparing food should consider a hair net but no one wanted to listen or have a conversation. Stopped off in boswells for a quick drink with my daughter and grandad. 3 staff members were working and service was initially quite slow (to be served) however everyone working was busy making food/drinks and doing table service so it was understandable that it took a little longer than expected. All staff were very welcoming and friendly. I won't lie, it's pretty pricey, our 3 drinks - strawberry and banana smoothie, vanilla milkshake with cream! and a hot chocolate - cost approximately £14. The only slightly negative comment I'd have would be the smoothie was pretty bland tasting, but the others were lovely and well presented. We didn't eat but the food looked and smelt delicious!
