This was my third cream tea whilst I was holiday in Cornwall and this was by far the best tasting. Lovely fresh homemade scones and a choice of plain or sultana’s scone- the others didn’t offer this option. The service was very efficient by the young man waiting the tables. Very noticeably clean cafe whilst still managing to have charm and coziness. Definitely worth a visit whilst visiting fowey for a break and refreshment. Thank you

Really cute little cafe. Good prices, and top quality food & drinks. A very personal feel to the place; the owner was in the process of baking a chocolate cake as we are our delicious cream tea!

Everything is small in Fowey, from 13th century buildings to this little cafe, but it has a big heart. Quiet, gentle, efficient and friendly with good food. We'll return.

I rarely leave reviews, and I genuinely feel bad about leaving this one, especially as it’s a small business. However, a group of us chose this restaurant today based on it being dog friendly and because it has great reviews on Google. However, we all felt that the food was ā€œincompleteā€ and overpriced, representing quite poor value for money. Ā£34 for two crab sandwiches, one tea, and one coffee. The crab sandwiches were just that: crab, sliced bread, butter…with a small pot of basic crisps. At Ā£14, maybe a small side salad, even as garnish, would’ve been the norm anywhere else, or perhaps a bit of coleslaw or seafood sauce. I wish I’d taken a photo, because whilst the crab was nice enough (despite a couple of bits of shell being found in two of our crab fillings) they really didn’t look anything like a Ā£14 sandwich. There were six of us in the group, and everyone felt the same way about their food. We all wished we’d simply bought a pasty from one of the bakeries in town. Maybe we just chose the wrong menu item, because looking at the reviews, most people really seem to...

I love this place and have been here several times. It's small but the breakfast is perfect. Everything is fresh and cooked well and is perhaps the only "full English" breakfast I've found where I genuinely enjoy everything on the plate.

Tinned tomatoes? Nope, it's a fresh half that's been lightly fried on one side.

Tinned mushrooms? Nope, they're fresh and again, lightly fried.

Perfectly fried egg with a runny yolk? You bet.

I really enjoy every visit here and...

Went here with my wife for a quick bite to eat. It was the first place we saw and thought we'd try it out. I'm glad we did. It's a quaint little cafe. Quite small but cosy. We both chose the Fish Finger Butty. It was, quite simply amazing. Lovely soft bread with chunky fish fingers, served with sauteed baby new potatoes and a side salad. And tartare sauce of course. Well worth a visit for this alone. Service was nice and friendly. Go and try. You won't be...
