Ready money cove is a fantastic beach. There is only a couple of parking spots near the beach. So it's a beach you would walk to.
There's a tiny shop for fishing nets, wetsuits, bucket and spades, swim shoes, body boards, wind breakers, lilos, tea, coffee, ice cream ,snacks and souvenirs. It's a bit expensive but the only shop there.
It's good for disabled Access. They have a beach wheelchair you can lend. They have toilets and a little running water point to wash sand off you just at the top of the beach over the road.
The beach is clean. No dogs allowed. It's good for swimming and there's a diving platform in the middle of the cove. The cove is roped off so no boats can get in. It's great for snorkeling, cannoeing, body boarding. The kids enjoyed rock pooling and collecting shells. The found a couple of jelly fish. There's plenty of seaweed to dig in to find little creatures. You can climb up the rocks, but they are quite sharp. Kids found lots of rock pools up there. Swimming shoes and a wet suit recommended. There are quite a few rocks to walk over before you get into the sea.
I came here as a child and I now have brought mine. We will definitely be coming again and highly recommend this place.

Read moreWow! What an absolute gem of a Cove! I would have never thought to randomly come here or the castle as my husband said 'it is just a ruin' but No! I definitely recommend going to this cove and the castle ruins! It's a bit of a walk to get to, uphill and downhill from the Castle Car Park, but worth if if you can! There's a public toilet, an adorable grab-and-go cafe, the area is serene and beautiful... And the views from the Castle are above and beyond anything I could have ever imagined! Definitely 5-stars!!!
