The little Gem — Restaurant in England

Stopped here on high recommendation of family members. Didn't have food so can't really comment so the score is a reflection of family comment and what we saw. Had coffee and hot chocolate both were as good as you'll get anywhere but not such high prices so fair value. Service friendly welcoming and efficient. A few of us had babies which were welcome. The owner is a lovely personality and adds to the overall feel and atmosphere. She even helps with baby cuddles. It's small but clean and laid out well given the space available. The cafe is based on an ethos of 'well being' so it's objective is to be calming, relaxing promoting healthy food and mind which is evident from it's relaxed setting, welcoming staff and vegan food offering. One of my favourite places, Gemma who owns it and the chef are so lovely. It’s dog friendly and my dog loves it there as he gets a special water bowl and homemade vegan dog treats, he’s normally fussy but he loves them. They have lots of choice for drinks and food. The food and cakes would appeal to non vegans as it is difficult to tell that they are vegan. The beetroot latte is a fave and their herbal teas. The cafe is cosey and welcoming with unique decor. Their events are unique and good fun, we have done incense making, perfume making and candle making. There are different events each month. They also do a loyalty scheme for drinks and events. Absolutely Incredible. A beautiful cafe in the heart of Royal Wooton Bassett. With an entirely plant based menu, it makes my vegan heart happy to have full access to the entire menu! The food is amazing and the coffee is heavenly. The fact it's dog friendly is an added bonus - but the ambience is so calming, it's easy to grab a coffee and relax!
