We were a group in town for 2 days and were looking for somewhere to eat and have dinner. Whilst walking down the high street II Camino was spotted by my partner, who suggested we try the Italian for dinner. Wow, what a wonderful find. The staff were absolutely lovely, very friendly and excellent service from the moment we walked in. It was not too busy when we arrived and we could choose where we wanted to sit. Our waiters were very friendly and just couldn't do enough for you. The food was on point, so tasty and plenty of it and very well presented too. I decided to have pizza which was absolutely yummy, well made and massive. It was that good, I finished the whole thing. Everyone else had the spaghetti or tagliatelle pasta which they all rated very highly and my sister in law had the lasagne. 10 out of 10 for all dishes and I must add the lasagne looked absolutely delicious. This restaurant was a good find in town and we will most probably visit again when we are back in...
Read moreThis is the second time we’ve visited this restaurant and I will never stop recommending this lovely place! We went with my baby and both times they were so accommodating- the first time they came over and checked the music wasn’t too loud and the lighting was ok as he was sleeping which was above and beyond! And the second time they did this again in making sure we had room for the pushchair, offering a high chair and interacting with him, trying to make him laugh ect.. the owners are the nicest and friendliest people, their customer service skills are amazing! When we visited last night, one of our group mentioned it was my birthday and without prompt, they brought out my dessert with a candle, decorated my plate to say ‘happy birthday’, dimmed the lights, played the happy birthday song and sung along! And to top it off the food is some of the nicest things I’ve ever tasted, you can tell it’s all fresh to orders and it’s just lush!! If you’re nearby you need to...
Read moreWent for my wife's birthday and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Upon arrival we were greeted warmingly and swiftly shown to out table. The brilliant menu was packed with many different options which made both of our jobs to pick a choice very hard. This was made even harder by the equally impressive specials menu. I had the liver in mushroom and Madeira sauce whilst my wife had the fried mozzarella. Both were amazing and flavoursome. For mains we had the special of half lobster with fish stew. The fish stew consisted of mussels, prawn, cod, salmon and scallops and was by far the best fish stew I've ever had. It was finished with a fantastic tiramisu and hazelnut semifreddo for myself and wife respectively. Throughout the service was exemplary yet not over bearing and was a fantastic experience throughout. I would recommend this place to anyone!!!! Absolutely...
