This morning just after I arrived at work I had a hankering that only a nice warm pastry could satisfy. I've worked in Wootton Bassett for years but had never thought to try this bakery until a colleague mentioned it to me. So I took the walk from my workplace round to the bakery. I approached and saw there was no queue. I thought, brilliant, I can have a chance to look at what they have. As I walked in I greeted the tallish senior gent. This was followed by him ignoring my greeting, turning his back to me and seemed to be filling out some sort of paperwork. I thought perhaps he hadn't heard me and thought he may say, just a moment or something similar. But instead, he just carried on and ignored me. I waited a moment and thought why should I wait? He was stood doing nothing when I walked in and then ignored me and started something else. This was not a great first impression and I won't be returning. I've given 2 stars as the food did look really great. Just disappointing that for some reason I wasn't welcome...

I've worked in shops before in my life and I know fine well you can process a transaction lower than your minimum spend. There is a difference between "can't do it" and "won't do it". Choose your words carefully next time, people are not stupid. I go past this bakery quite often, and think of going in, then I remember that lie I was told by the worker and end up going...

I went back bought a couple of things and when I started eating realised it was not chicken but may be Beef. When I went back to ask her why didn’t she serve me what I asked for, and she goes like ‘oh I told you while packing that it was Steak and Kidney pie and you didn’t say anything’. Like really? Why wouldn’t I say anything when I hear Steak or Beef as it is against my religion to eat it.
She didn’t even care to offer a replacement, the least she could do is own her mistake, really sad...
