I can highly reccommend! Before we even walked in it was lovely with the warm and friendly welcome. The food is incredible. They serve all the lunchy bites you can think of but we only managed to try the Winter Special of Soup and a Cheese Toasitie, Sausage sandwich, chips and a Cheese scone. The scone was amazing; warm and fresh out of the oven. We went there specifically for something warming and comforting which soup and a Cheese toastie cured it. The sausage sandwich was really nice, especially with the nice thick doorstep bread. The fries were very nice which I can reccomend that that is the best place to go for cheesy chips. Even the place was nice. It felt so comfy and homely which we wouldve stayed for longer to let the rain go by however it was a shame we couldnt do that as tables are very lacking due to the size. I would recommend either booking if you want to go at a specific time. Overall an amazing little cafe, cant reccommend enough! The owners Adrian and Lucy are so lovely and friendly and really welcome you in,such...

We’ve been to Looe so many times yet we wander past many places without stopping, I’m so glad that we decided to stop at The Lookout for a hot chocolate. Not only was the hot chocolate amazing, so was the tiffin! With the sun shining and overlooking the estuary what could be better? A biscuit for the dog and friendly staff as well. It’s all about the people.

We also saw the scones (although I’m sure Adrian the owner called it a scone as in gone rather than scone as in cone). So the next day after a walk from Looe Bay caravan park to Milendreath and along the coast path to Looe we had to stop for a cream tea. The scones taste even better than they look. We had a out of tea and the kids had some fancy hot chocolates. Another chat with Adrian and a table booked for a few days time.

Be sure to visit The Lookout and...

In my many years of reviewing places and restaurants I have never felt it necessary to leave a bad review, and have always tried to find something good about a venue, but unfortunately on this occasion I can not leave a good one or infact day anything good about this cafe. The staff, which turned out to be the owner, was very rude to the point of shouting at us across the cafe, she made my daughter cry (she is only 5) and upset myself and my wife greatly. The food was cold and not very appetising at all.

I would not recommend or ever return here again. We are local and live in Cornwall, and i believe in supporting local businesses, especially in the winter months when trade is low due to lack of tourists. However, we never been anywhere in Cornwall where we have been...

While on holiday we visited The Lookout three times (couldn’t stay away)! We had tasty breakfasts, coffees and cakes, and in such a lovely, laidback setting. Had a nice long chat with the owner and all of the staff are so friendly and welcoming, and clearly make themselves a part of the local community! We have three dogs and we were welcome to sit inside or outside :) what a jolly welcome, we’ll be back next year!! Thanks so much

Friendly Staff, great coffee, amazing location! My family and I were on holiday and pottering around Looe - We stumbled across The Lookout and we were pleasantly surprised at the friendliness of the staff. It really did have that family run feel. Two of us had coffee, two people had hot chocolate and one person had a pot of tea. All of us enjoyed our drinks. Dogs are really welcomed here.
