Gains a star as it's cheap, loses one for the state of the toast and bacon. Stopped in for a breakfast, mega is £8.95 so not bad but no drinks included or black pudding available. Ordered a tea to come with the breakfast and it arrived with half a sausage a slice of bacon and two mushrooms left on the plate. Nice coffee, lady behind the counter was very friendly. Toast was terrible, pale, soggy and inedible. Maybe if you provide butter rather than pre buttering it might stand up better? Toast has to crunch. There was also something wierd and rubbery about the egg whites. All in all has to be a 4 rather than 3 because the lady was nice and it's a jolly place to sit and pass the time. I doubt I'll be back for another breakfast though, even with the thin pickings for a fry up...
Read moreThe young girl on the cafe was very rude and was too busy to check on my order, after nearly 20 minutes of waiting and everyone in our group else hadeaten and others appeared to be served after my order, they appeared to be surprised when I cancelled my order and called me rude! It appears to me that her regular customers are more important than a mere new customer. If you want a good service I would go elsewhere. It appears that most of the Isle of Wight accepts dogs but they don't, which I didn't mind until they go rude with me. so we had to sit outside on a rocky table and spilt most of my tea which had gotten cold...
