Absolutely discusting service by 2 of the workers in there am gobsmacked I understand waiting cos of the rules with covid but does the rules come with attitude and arrogance? Ordered a meal with my friend was nice but table service for drinks I mayswell of made a wine pump of my own by the time it came 2 pints 35 mins! After paying on card then when I tried to wave my attention over politely I just got a look and ignored! Instead of I,ll get back to you in a min or sorry about your wait or anything like that my friend then come in to get a bottle of wine to take home they looked at me cos they knew i made a complaint and told my friend no talk about interbred behind the bar taken it out on a innocent person the manager thinks hes the next boris johnson shouting all the rules and regulations so he can been seen and heard to make him look good should be on love island seems he was checking himself out as hes throwing his rules around some of the staff were ok but as far as a power trip by typing afew pints in the till and moping up tables you,d think they run the Hilton! Joke should employ mature polite...

I've been to the postal order a few times never really had any issues. Went last night the place was a mess. Waiters just constantly walking past dirty tables, with plates glasses etc on the tables. 3 people on the bar serving two people then just talking not bothering to collect glasses or anything. Food was average, think its really gone down hill since I went in last year. I wouldn't say it was really busy, there was more dirty tables than places to sit, only when we had nearly finished our meal did the table next to us get cleaned, when the waiter did clean it he took the plates left the glasses and the rubbish until about ten minutes later when the manager came round collected the glasses rubbish straightened out the menus and wiped the table the other tables were still dirty but the only person I really saw doing anything was the manager! The one blonde girl who served us on the bar was lovely, but the places is just a complete mess I will not be...

Went for breakfast today, the place was practically empty, we stood at the door at first, unsure weather or not to just sit down or wait. 2 members of staff looked at us and carried on so we went and sat down. Went and ordered our breakfast, the lady in the till had zero customer service skills whatsoever, we almost felt like it was too much trouble just ordering food. When our food did come there was toast missing from one order, the wrong breakfast wrap and a breakfast wrap missing completely. When we asked the man who served us where the other wrap was and that the other wrap was wrong, he just turned and walked away without saying a word. When pulled on it he was very snarky and told us he’d go and see where our food was, again, zero customer service skills. I completely understand that times and situations are difficult at the minute but we were made to feel like pests for asking for our correct orders and the place was...

The Postal Order like most of the Wetherspoons portfolio looks the business from the outside but unfortunately fails once you walk in. Usually there is nice decor and architecture in their establishments but this one feels more like a social club and lacks the 'spoons' feel. It would have got 2 stars if I was judging it on that but I've given it 5 stars purely on the quality of food and the service the staff provided. The food arrived piping hot within 10 minutes and the request for 'well done' chips was fulfilled. Both the meals, chicken tikka & fried chicken buttermilk burger were outstanding & delicious and the constant noticeable staff around to attend to customers was great to see. A busy pub with mostly regulars but would recommend it for just the food alone 10/10 👏👏👏

Called in for something to eat and I soon regretted it. (See photos). Ordered everything through the app, and it was easier than standing around at an overcrowded bar. Although it was Friday when I called in so excuses can be made for it being so busy that we couldn't get a table for a while. The "regulars" are in an interesting bunch, found myself knee deep in conversation in the ladies toilets with an elderly lady telling me all about her A&E recent visit. At my table I was almost set upon for looking at someone - I don't think that you're meant to look forwards in this weatherspoons it's frowned upon by the regulars. The service was fast despite the staff being rushed off their feet, unfortunately the food just wasn't edible.

The best pub in Blackburn town centre, should be in the Good Beer Guide. Real ale on top form and great value at around £2.50 a pint. Great value food, a large choice on the breakfast menu until 12, with unlimited hot drinks available all day, the curry club includes a drink as do all other items on the main menu from 11.30 am. Very friendly and helpful staff. Now with an outdoor beer garden under the trees near the Cathedral. (Weather permitting)
