Great gins and ales in a lovely little place. Very relaxed. The staff are fab and they all know what their drinks taste like so that they can help you decide your tipple. They have pork pies from a local butchers and cakes from a local bakery and they are always great. I also like the fact they don't have loads of drinks and rotate what they have a lot. The Salthouse is a fabulous friendly bar with a great atmosphere whether it's busy with live music or a quiet evening. Always an excellent choice of beers. Great wine choice and a decent selection of shorts. The staff are knowledgeable and cheerful and very friendly which helps generate the relaxed atmos.
