The Tea Room — Restaurant in England

Absolutely love this little tea room - first visited a couple of years back for cream teas which were gorgeous. We visited this morning and had coffee (lattes), the kind man who was running the show gave our kiddies extra biscuits (instead of them pinching ours!) and gave the kids doggy treats to feed another customer’s dog. After my boy commented that he had doggy slobber on his hand the man helped him clean his hands. Sadly we never made it back as promised for scones as the weather cheered up and we spent the rest of the day on the beach but we will be back next time we are in the area! 5 star service, so so welcoming and the coffee was delicious. Thank you! It’s the little things like engaging with our children that really make a difference to us 🤩

Slightly off the main thoroughfare, but well worth the few extra steps. The Tea Room has a proper tea room feel to it, with it's on trend mismatched vintage crockery and retro inspired decor, it's a little gem that we'll definitely visit again. Whilst it may have a slightly smaller selection of goods than some other venues, it does have gluten free/vegan options available. And the service, family run feel, and end product certainly make up for this. We've only had cream tea/coffee and cakes here and have not been disappointed. We will definitely be returning to The Tea Room when we're next in Perranporth, and I look forward to seeing what other cakes they have on offer/working my way...

I saw this place as was looking forward to trying it. The door was open with a flimsy piece of blank board across the bottom of the doorway. I assumed it was to keep the dogs and the kids from running outside. I saw 2 empty tables inside so moved the board aside and was prompt shouted at that they were closed to new customers as they were behind in the kitchen. I can understand if someone called in sick that day but as a hint to the guy behind the counter shouting at me, tell your customers you are backed up, they may have to wait 30 minutes if that is acceptable to them.
