We'd been looking for a cream tea with easy walk in access as we drove along the North Cornish coast but all we either a long way from a car park or not on the flat. The Cove was recommended to us by Alcatraz by the beach at Perranporth. It was only a couple of minutes from the car park and very accessible. In fact whilst we were enjoying the Cove Cream Tea a motorised chair easily negotiated the front entrance and with the tables being set well apart was able to manoeuvre to a table at the back of the cafe. The service was super fast, ordering at the counter then sitting down for less than 5 minutes. The Cream Tea was delicious. A large warm scone with plenty of jam in two separate dishes. The scone was light and very fresh. We almost went back to order another it was so good. A good cup of tea as well. The rest of the menu was very reasonably priced and the sandwiches we saw being made look good as well. Definitely...
Read moreAbsolutely fantastic. Brilliant quality food and lovely staff. They're tight on covid rules as they can evidently appreciate the opportunity to reopen. The Cove can be your local coffee shop or a breakfast/lunch diner- it's a wonderful place!
The Cove was our breakfast & lunch go-to for the week and the staff recognised us as regulars which is always a wonderful feeling. The main guy (we didn't get a name!) was personable and evidently a fantastic boss. One specific waitress (dark hair) was always there too, and she was quick to welcome us and make us feel comfortable. I hope this brilliant service is recognised more. The Saturday waiters & waitresses were also fantastic so props to them!

Thank you for having us for our...
Read moreIt's 2am! Usually on most nights next to a coastal beach it would be silent, clear and the odd occasion get a little noise here and there....well.....tonight was different!. My distressed father (who has a heart condition) my two young kids got woken up to the loud ( can't stress this enough but really loud) music. Can understand that an staff after party is needed after a busy 6weeks but 2AM of music blasting, not to mention having to bang on the wall to tell you to turn it down but of course you insist on turning it up. We did of course have to come over and ask (and yes you get a star for beinging polite) for you to turn it down. However we were planning to come down for a cuppa your famous sandwiches...but for this we pass!. Hope you had a splendid evening ignoring your surroundings and blasting your music to high inconsiderate levels. (Also "cha-cha slide"..???...
