We'd been looking for a cream tea with easy walk in access as we drove along the North Cornish coast but all we either a long way from a car park or not on the flat. The Cove was recommended to us by Alcatraz by the beach at Perranporth. It was only a couple of minutes from the car park and very accessible. In fact whilst we were enjoying the Cove Cream Tea a motorised chair easily negotiated the front entrance and with the tables being set well apart was able to manoeuvre to a table at the back of the cafe. The service was super fast, ordering at the counter then sitting down for less than 5 minutes. The Cream Tea was delicious. A large warm scone with plenty of jam in two separate dishes. The scone was light and very fresh. We almost went back to order another it was so good. A good cup of tea as well. The rest of the menu was very reasonably priced and the sandwiches we saw being made look good as well. Definitely worth calling in.
