The Tipsy Kat Restaurant & Cocktail Bar — Restaurant in England

Visited for the first time back in October and probably wouldn't return again. Weird vibes as soon as we entered and had a waitress with her leg on the bar, shouting about foot fetishes. Booked a table for 4 to have food and drinks, I can't comment too much on the food as I only had a side, but my family enjoyed theirs. The cocktails were disappointing, though. They all had a powdery taste like they were pre made. We had one or two that had dry ice but was a bit put off when the server had to rummage his fingers inside the drink to find the bit to pour into. We also was given 5 drinks, a mistake on their end, but was told to keep the additional one. This place could have a great atmosphere but felt dead. The wait times were long, and you could see it on peoples faces they were getting frustrated. When it came to payment, I asked a server behind the bar, and he said he'd sort it. Time went by, and no one approached us, bearing in mind that we were the only ones left. Another waiter comes out to take our payment, which we ask to pay separately, and a massive deal is made of it. Needless to say, as the cocktails themselves were, in my opinion, really poor. I...

We had a leaving/birthday do for 22 people at the Tipsy Kat and we could not have been more satisfied with the food and service. I had given the menu choices in before hand and popped in that morning with the balloons and banners. On our arrival in the evening the table was set and looking great with a throne chair for our guest of honour with the balloons tied to it. It all looked fabulous. The staff were really attentive ensuring that all our needs were catered. When the food arrived it was delivered with precision as they used the list I had given them. We thought the food was absolutely delicious, although there was one in our party that felt her steak should have been hot, the staff jumped to it immediately and apologised to her and offered her a hot replacement dish along with a free drink, unfortunately she declined both.
