So good we visited it twice. We were on a family holiday to the Forest of Dean and visited Hereford twice. Hereford is really dog friendly including this cafe. The menu is broad and we were all able to find something. The staff are really friendly and the service was really quick. We enjoyed the coronation chicken sandwich (who knew you could put an onion bhaji on a sandwich), sausage sandwich, cheese and ham sandwich and jacket potato with cheese. The staff were able to tweak the sandwiches for the kids (replacing mustard mayo for normal mayo etc). Portions and freshness were value for money. When visiting later in the week we returned as we enjoyed the food so much the first time, this time having the coconut chicken sandwich. It was good to see it busy for sitting in and take aways. The cakes looked yummy. Would definitely...

First time visiting & what a lovely place to stumble upon. We popped in for something sweet to take away, and didn't realise they were closing in 15 mins. The staff were all super friendly despite the timing, and all very helpful. Came away with what I can only describe as a slice of heaven! I had the lemon curd crumble cheesecake slice, and it was absolutely incredible - all of the baked good looked fantastic that I did struggle to choose. I love that everything is baked in store, you can tell they care about their food. The staff even offered us 2 slices of quiche for free as it was going to go to waste, what a lovely gesture and great way to help prevent food wastage. We were very sad that we'd already eaten lunch, as the menu all looked really good - we'll definitely be back for lunch another time! What a great...

Really lovely, small and cosy cafe with great produce which shines through in its food. We had a sour dough chilli chicken sandwich, a coronation chicken bagette, a salted caramel brownie for the kids, a couple of juice boxes and a flat white and a mocha.

Table service was excellent and out waitress was very efficient. The food and drink came very fast despite being almost full and the food was delicious. The flat white was the best I'd had, probably because it was a James Gourmet blends from Ross on Wye ( a favourite of mine).

Overall a great, family friendly, cafe perfect for a light bite.

Extra note: although we had no dietary requirements some of their food is also gluten free,...

King Street Kitchen is without a doubt my favourite café in Hereford. Really good food for a start, always of a high quality, just like proper home cooked food. Great if you want to treat yourself out without having to sacrifice any quality. Plus the interior of the place is lovely, perfect for a nice quiet afternoon reading, or for a meet up with some friends. I particularly love their jacket potatoes, and when you get them delivered they are just as good! Lovely food, kept simple. Would recommend to anyone due to the variety of the menu as well. The staff are very kind and portion sizes are very generous.

My son and I had visited a couple of places and were looking for somewhere to eat. I can't comment on the food as they'd closed the kitchen when I went in (at 2:30pm, and they close at 3pm). However, we did stay for a drink. My son had a pot of tea, and I had a hot chocolate. It was lovely on a cold winter's day. The two drinks cost £6 altogether. The place was quite small and cosy, bright and clean. Service was friendly and quick. They also had some nice music playing in the background at a very comfortable volume. We have said we'll go another time for food as the menu looked interesting.
