Disappointing Experience

I recently visited this pub and had an extremely unpleasant experience. Not only did I witness discriminatory behavior towards a person with disabilities, but I also observed a hostile atmosphere that left me deeply uncomfortable.

The staff’s response to the discrimination was disappointing, to say the least. Instead of addressing the issue with empathy and professionalism, they reacted defensively and even threatened to ban me for speaking out against injustice.

Furthermore, it’s disheartening to note that this isn’t an isolated incident. The pub seems to have a recurring problem with judgmental behavior and discrimination. Homophobic actions and an unwelcoming attitude towards those whose “faces don’t fit” are prevalent here.

As someone who values inclusivity and positivity, I cannot recommend this establishment. Regrettably, I don’t believe they will change to a more positive attitude. I believe in standing up for what’s right, and I hope this review serves as a reminder for the pub’s management to reevaluate their policies and foster a more accepting...

I took my friend to the white lion tonight ,he works for Cornwall gazette ,going round Karoake venues , unfortunately he said will be writing a report saying this was the worst Karoake venue he has ever come across not allowing new poeple into pub who want to sing , you have no chance I went in there tonight waited 2 hours never got up to sing but lady who works there sang 5 times when I was in there , I was very disappointed but my friend is going to write a bad review for this pub as not good enough ,they only let there regulars up on on Karoake , very hard to get a song in , I would not go back there it was the worse Karoake I have ever been to plus the sound was really bad , I would avoid this place...

Interesting place. General atmosphere great. Unfortunately the bar person (trying to be PC) drink red wine thought the night. All fine until he decided he needs to charge a round when we ordered one drink. If the bar staff a drink while serving then it down hill. Love the pub love atmosphere byt you can'tdrynks behind the bar is something I'd rather avoid yoy choice. Unfortunately for the barperson I do don't drink. Shame...
