A hidden gem of a cafe particularly for people who are on a gluten free diet especially those with coeliac disease. Pretty much all the menu is or can be prepared with non gluten containing ingredients. The owners and staff really know their stuff when it comes to cross contamination and are clear with what they can and cannot do. They even mentioned their daughter had coeliac disease so all this just really set me at ease.

It's a friendly and down to earth place to get a good bite to eat. Small or big! When we visited I had my mum and dad with me who have no dietary issues.

My dad has a full English and declared it one of the best he's ever had. And he's had a lot! Even had fried bread for bonus points! My mum really enjoyed her toastie and commented even the salad dressing was top stuff. As the coeliac I opted for a bagel with bacon and egg with cheese. It was properly stuffed with lovely bacon (crispy just how I like it). And even included a lovely golden hash brown.

The owners told me a great story that someone wrongly assumed they were one of those cat cafes without properly checking. Just because of the name. It's those great little interactions, care and attention that help put you at ease if you have dietary needs.

Just to reiterate they absolutely are not a cat cafe. But they serve awesome good honest food and cater for as many people as they...

I found the Wish Cat Café on Google whilst searching for places to eat in Bridlington that serve vegan and vegetarian food. After reading the reviews, all of which are very positive, I decided I would have lunch there with my mum. The décor is absolutely charming, with a cat theme throughout, which is never a bad thing because, let's face it, cats are the best. Mum and I both had the vegan meatballs with rice and a salad garnish. They were excellent! Really nice, rich tomato sauce, and the meatballs themselves had a wonderful flavour and texture, leaving us both comfortably full from the generous portions. The prices are reasonable, and the staff extremely welcoming and friendly. I will certainly be a regular visitor from now on. If I could give more than 5...

Loved this place. I have never met such a friendly lady who served us, but all staff were friendly and even the chefscame to chat to us and we really felt looked after. I had the Home made steak pie, partner is gluten free and had lots of choice compared to every other place we have gone to. The chips were really nice particularly. Great feedback from all meals. The only reason I dropped a star was no lock on the toilet door and the slight smoke and smell from cooking in the kitchen made my headache worse, however they did explain they had undergone some work and it was in progress so I'm sure this will be resolved in no time. Thank you for a lovely dinner experience. We will be coming again and...

A warm, cosy, dog friendly cafe. The food was very good. 😋We ordered a standard breakfast (sausage, bacon, 2 hash browns, fried egg, beans, mushrooms, fried tomatoes and two slices of toast) a vegetarian breakfast, and 2 toasted sausage baguettes, served with crisps and side salad. (They don’t serve chips), 3 teas (the cups had been warmed, a nice touch) and 1 hot chocolate made with soya milk which came in a huge jam jar mug. They also had a Vegan menu. There are steps up to the cafe, however, they do have a back accessible door if you are in a wheelchair or have a pushchair. Our friends doggy “Fudgie” was even given a chewy stick treat on arrival 🐕. A lovely find on our day out to Flamborough. 🙂
