Read moreI had a really bad experience at this hotel recently and I left feeling slightly traumatised. The attitude I received from the lady serving at the bar was off the scales and made me feel about an inch tall. Some people have no business working in customer service. I ordered a bottle of beer but it was almost thrown onto the table without so much as a word and without a glass. I didn’t want to swig it from the bottle so I went to the bar. There was a large queue so I waited patiently, I didn’t want to push in, even though I didn’t need any drinks.Eventually the queue went down but I’d been waiting a good 8 or 9 minutes, my food had come out and was going cold. I pointed out politely that I’d been waiting before the other gentleman but I was snapping at again. I should have told her that her customer service skills were appalling but I was so angry, I thanked her and walked off, she was still glaring at me and scowling as I turned away. A lesson of how NOT to speak to a customer. I won’t ever...
