Very interesting place - firstly the location which is in the middle of a suburban part of Brighton and Hove up on a hill near Dyke Road. It's on a corner and because I suppose it is also their house with the downstairs converted to a shop it gives it a pleasant homely feel. There's a largeish garden at the front with an rather striking wooden structure too which I think would be useful in wetter or colder weather than there was on our visit. There's some indoor seating but not much I think - there's also a toilet inside.

There's a mixture of western and Kurdish or Kurdish influenced at least menu choices - some of the homemade cakes, pies and similar in the front cabinet looked incredible and you can obviously take them away. Our breakfast were cooked well and generous portions and I really enjoyed the omelette as well - interestingly presented as well in line with the slightly quirky nature of the place.

Prices are very reasonable for the Brighton area I suppose because of it's location away from the conventional cafe areas. Strongly recommend giving this place a go especially if the weather is good and you can enjoy...

Great spot!! I came here before a bike ride towards the dyke. Really close to preston park train station so very convenient. It has a lovely outdoor terrace with many tables and also a covered outdoor space. They offer a selection of greek/turkish homemade dishes and some desserts. I had the spinach and goat cheese pastry and it was delicious! Had a proper espresso as well, which is rare! I enjoyed the sun in the terrace as the vibe was very familiar and friendly. Really good prices as well! The staff was really nice and helpful which is always a strong plus! Also, they played some nice jazz music in the background and I really couldn’t ask for more.

I definitely...

I travelled down from Manchester on business and happened to come across this beautiful authentic cafe. It has the wow factor from the second you lay eyes on it outside, but when you walk in you feel like you have been transported and your no longer in the uk the whole vibe, decoration and music takes you away to somewhere that feels special. All organic foods and supplements available to purchase to take home. The food is all home made and 5* delicious and the drinks are also fresh and beautiful. Cater to all dietary requirements and the service is outstanding. Highly recommend if you come to Brighton you visit this place you don’t know what...

I love this cafe, the food is incredible, lots of homemade goods! The staff are so friendly, everyone who works in this cafe is always so pleasant with lovely service. They went the extra mile today by finding candles and putting them in a homemade biscoff cheesecake (highly recommend) and playing happy birthday music for my partner. I cannot recommend this cafe enough, so lucky it’s our local!
