Truva Lounge Cocktail Bar — Restaurant in England

Do not place orders online with any requests of any kind!! They are ignored by the staff!! Especially important for others with food allergies or intolerances as all notes to change food in any way are totally disregarded!! This will end up with someone in hospital, and they simply don't care!! I am very sorry to be writing a negative review about this restaurant as my family really enjoy the food here... except when they continually get the online orders wrong! Sadly that has happened far too many times - 5 wrong orders already this year. Which wouldn't be so bad if the management took notice of the feedback and actually made ANY changes. It is the same issues being repeated time and time again. Plus a recent sprinkling of new ones caused by them not understanding how to operate their new online ordering system which gives the kitchen a set time to deliver based on the information they have input... but as they don't understand it, orders can take HOURS to be prepared unless you also phone them too. The manager is the most charming guy ever... but don't mistake any of those pleasantries or that great smile as good service. It is all a facade!! He simply agrees to your face, but absolutely nothing is being changed to improve service, and he just blames other staff members - every single time. It is only getting WORSE!! I strongly recommend avoiding any online orders at Truva Lounge!! If they arrive on time, they are still likely to be incorrect, even when they 'attempt' to correct them. So much wasted food!! And they don't offer ANY refunds... just offer baklava and full sugar fizzy drinks to...

Came here for birthday lunch on a Friday. As the weather was lovely, we thought let's sit outside. We sat down at a table and waited for someone to come out. Nobody did so I went inside. One wait staff was sweeping with airpods in ears. Nobody else to be seen at this point. I helped myself to the menus as there were none of the tables and asked whether we needed to order inside or will you come outside? She said I'll come outside. A little while later, she took our order. Bartender came out with the drinks and asked if we were just having drinks or having food as well.. I replied I replied I had ordered our food He was shocked. He then comes back with bread and dips. I'm now thinking has the wait staff that took the order not notified the kitchen of our order. Food comes out shortly, it was pleasant. We ordered a falafel wrap and halloumi wrap with fries. No wait staff making their rounds to check on customers. There was also another party of 5 people outside as well. I thought for what we ordered at lunch was expensive. I had to go back inside to pay. I guess as they don't pay attention to outside, people could easily walk off without paying. Nice to visit Towcester. We won't be coming...

Fantastic Experience at Truva Lounge Cocktail Bar!

I recently made a booking online a couple of hours before visiting, as I’d never tried Truva Lounge before, and I’m so glad I did! The moment we arrived, we were greeted by a polite staff member who, to my pleasant surprise, knew who we were before even confirming our booking. It’s these little touches that really set the tone for a wonderful evening. The restaurant itself has a cozy, intimate vibe—small but beautifully set, with a warm and inviting atmosphere.

We were seated quickly, and within moments, a waiter came over to take our drink orders. The cocktails here are outstanding—some of the best I’ve had in this area! After enjoying our drinks, we ordered food. I went for the two-person platter, which was fantastic, and I also ordered halloumi and chips separately—both were cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious.

Overall, I was really impressed by the quality of everything at Truva Lounge. From start to finish, it was a fantastic experience. The smaller size of the restaurant is part of what makes it special, so don’t let that deter you. I highly recommend visiting—I'm already looking forward to...
