I ordered the curry goat. It was boneless with different bits of fat. It tasted nice and I would have liked more sauce and meat. My friend had the seafood bowl but it came in a similar plate to my curry goat, not in a bowl and the squid in her plate looked like udon noodles. Also this dish should be brought with another plate to leave prawn shells in. The atmosphere was great with tables very close to one another and music often too loud. I woke up the next morning with a sore throat. The banana toffee cheesecake and the food competitive price were winners. We ordered 2 sides, 2 mains, 1 dessert, 1 cocktail, 1 juice, 1 coffee and our total bill was £53.40. The blonde waitress with long hair went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our orders and made different changes we requested without fuss. I would definitely recommend turtle bay for the service, yummy Caribbean food and the banana toffee cheesecake.

Had high hopes for this place after being recommended to us by family members. Only positive comment I have after today's visit is that mains were nice. Waiting time totally unacceptable, especially on Wednesday evening outside theirs happy hour time slot. 30 min for one plate of starters which came lukewarm and 1 hour for mains. We were not even made aware of the waiting time when seated. When asked after 25 min when food will be ready we were told we are busy. Looked around only about 5 or 6 tables full. Clearly must been short staffed so why not be honest and make customers aware of the waiting times. Cleanliness not great either, sticky table ughhhh. We were harassed by some drug addict which just walked inside asking for smoke not being excused till after she approached another 2-3 tables. Wife's main came with chicken not prawns as ordered. Got replaced fairly quickly though. Might give it another chance but for now one star only.

Is it worth coming here? Hell yes, good music and bass. Woohoo. I had the curry goat west indian curry's, just amazing, well balanced, not overly spicy with encona chilli on the side for an extra kick, yeah why not. The ambiance is top notch, security at the door in case of any mishaps in or out. Toilet is upstairs. Cocktails is mindblowing without a doubt. Whoever you come with, will be very happy. I definitely am, since I came with my sister in law and brov. Good staffs and very attentive to who, what has ordered. Unfortunately I can only give 5 stars, if there was 6 stars I could higher.

I've heard great things about this place and I was finally opportuned to visit. The decor is so colourful. It is vibrant and catches the eye. Very soulful and inviting. The staff were very attentive and pleasant all through. The cocktails were amazing. The jerk ribs were overcooked and dry unfortunately. That did take away from the delight of being there. Hence the 4 stars. I'll definitely be back, as I have a few things I still want to try on the menu. Good value for money.

After a quick visit to Leicester, we found this place, I'm from the Caribbean so I decided to try it...we ordered a Jerk platter It was delicious except the rice and beans, it honestly had no taste...but the ribs, jerk chicken, sausage, salad and fries were great along with our great drinks...The atmosphere of the place was very cozy but without a doubt the star was the great service we received...we will definitely return.
