Turtle Bay Leicester

Had high hopes for this place after being recommended to us by family members. Only positive comment I have after today's visit is that mains were nice.

Waiting time totally unacceptable, especially on Wednesday evening outside theirs happy hour time slot. 30 min for one plate of starters which came lukewarm and 1 hour for mains. We were not even made aware of the waiting time when seated. When asked after 25 min when food will be ready we were told we are busy. Looked around only about 5 or 6 tables full. Clearly must been short staffed so why not be honest and make customers aware of the waiting times.

Cleanliness not great either, sticky table ughhhh.

We were harassed by some drug addict which just walked inside asking for smoke not being excused till after she approached another 2-3 tables.

Wife's main came with chicken not prawns as ordered. Got replaced fairly quickly though.

Might give it another chance but for now one star only.
