Tuti's Indian — Restaurant in England

Tried this restaurant after a bad experience with Avon spice nearly putting us of Indian food completely. We found the food here to be faultless and have tried many dishes and still the standard never drops . We are always made to feel welcome and we'll looked after and always leave full , content and with the feeling that we haven't paid enough for what we've had . I recently had my husbands 40th there with all family and friends and was allowed to decorate with banners and balloons and Hassan and his lovely wife made the night with great service and great banter. I can not say enough good things about this restaurant, it maybe small but makes up for it with its amazing food lovely staff and happy feel . I recommend anyone who enjoys Indian food should try this...

Ordered a take away via the website at 17:05 for delivery at 19:05 on Friday 24th Feb.

Food arrived on time but was cold (we live about 1.5 miles from restaurant). We had to warm everything before eating it.

Tikka starter was a little tough and rather bland but OK.

Curries were very watery and lacking in taste. No flavour at all of any Indian herbs or spices just mild curry heat and a rather unpleasant oily aftertaste.

Rice was OK but Naan bread was dried out (before we reheated it) and tasted like it was bought from a supermarket a few days ago.

Had we been presented with this food in a restaurant setting we would have sent it back but it was a take away for two costing nearly £50.

Very very disappointing after the positive reviews posted recently since...

The food may be good, as other have reviewed, but we wouldn't know. We were engaged by a gentleman hunched over the bar, apparently too disinterested in his patrons to stand. When we asked for a table he responded "what?! with them?" - referring to our children. He then went on to say no, they would make a mess.

We then walked down to Thai Barn and had a wonderful dinner, mess free, with our children.

We have never been treated so poorly. We do not recommend this establishment. All families with children should not give them their business to send a clear message that families should not be treated in this manner and that children need to be treated with respect, not...
