Went in last night to meet my friend and his dog who I meet up with a few times a year so we wanted to catch up before Christmas. When I arrived the car park was super busy and inside a party was going on and obviously noisy. When we ordered food and sat down we were shouting at one another as the table they reserved us was near the band. Leah came over and we asked if the band was on all night and she said yes and she kindly offered to move us to a table near the front and took our plates etc to the table. She even made sure my friend's dog Buddy had a bowl of water and dog treats and made sure we were comfortable. It was a much nicer atmosphere for us to catch up on as we didn't have to shout and Buddy seemed happier too, even went to sleep. Leah went above and beyond and was friendly and chatty. We did Thank her and told her how good she had been but I wanted to write a review as well so higher management see this. Thank you from Dawn , Dom and Buddy the dog. 🐶

Me and my family went to the pub for my daughters birthday! We couldn’t have experienced a better dinner! Everything was cooked to perfection! And the chef Jake even catered to my daughters difficult dietary needs, without any questions asked! He even brought out a birthday desert for her! And the team sang her happy birthday! We felt very welcome and very good value for money! And a proper homey feel! Definitely will be returning! Jake made us feel very at ease with my daughter’s difficulties, and even came and checked on us multiple times during our meal!

One of the worst Sunday roasts I've had for a long time. No roast turkey or beef left, so had to have a chicken breast. Carrots and cauli were practically raw and inedible and I'm dubious whether there was any cheese in the cauli cheese, complained but they didn't really care. Frozen roast spuds and stuffing, no bacon on pigs in blankets. Then had to have a lengthy argument about the 'free' dessert the Sunday roast is meant to come with, having to ask for the manager before they reluctantly agreed to honour the offer.

I've been here a good few times now and I honestly could not fault anything regarding this pub. The staff are friendly. The pub is clean and welcoming. They have a good kids menu aswell as I normal menu. Esp the deals like two meals from £14.49! They have a wide selection of veg and vegan aswell. I highly recommend eating at this pub. Easy to find aswell :) Kayleigh served me. Must say the girls brilliant at cooking aswell as upselling!!
