Such a beautiful old church creates a lovely setting to enjoy a spot of lunch or a cup of tea. This is a working church with cafe. Staff and owner are very friendly and do a lot of work for their local community. Providing hot drinks and warm meals for the homeless and a space to hang out or unwind.
They have a great menu selection. The mega all day breakfast buttie was tasty. Their jacket potatoes are immense. The photo doesn't do the size of it justice, and it is definitely a value for money. However, the jacket could have done with a few more minutes cooking it was a bit raw in the middle.

Once we entered the building we were absolutely amazed by the ambiance and decoration - fresh, homely, inviting. We were greeted by the friendly front of house members and found ourselves very inspired by the food menu. We have cheese toasties which were perfect and so were the drinks. We quickly found out that this is a non-profit coffee shop with any profit going to support local organisations working against poverty and homelessness. Good place to revise or catch up on office work as its quiet and you can use your laptop with ease. They do a range of cakes and other foods. various coffee's and tea aswell as juices ect. They also do the pay it forward scheme here where by you can buy a drink or food for somone else and then they can come and take a ticket and have the food or drink.
