Visited yesterday before going home and staff were very rude, constantly looking over at our table and talking, always on their phones. Me and my dad ordered a breakfast and I didn't want black pudding, but mushrooms instead, only to be told that mushrooms were 1 pound extra (they were £1.50 extra) so I had black pudding and gave it to my dad. My dad wanted half beans and half tomatoes, that was £1.50 extra. Mine didn't have tomatoes, although the menu states that large breakfasts are with tomatoes. Our coffees were with coffee whitener and not milk. I complained but all the girl said was 'Its up to you what you take of your plate and who you give it to' HOW RUDE!!!!!! No customer service. Read moreTried yum yum cafe this morning for the first time and will not be going back there. After looking at the set menu I went for the super breakfast but I asked the waitress if instead of tomatoes and black pudding which I don’t like if I could possibly have mushrooms and a hash brown to replace the items I didn’t like. My wife did the same and so did my 2 daughters. The food came fairly quickly and was nice but we were missing mushrooms off my daughters breakfast and my wife’s cup of tea didn’t turn either. When we went to pay at the end I couldn’t believe it was just over £40 and that we had been charged for the mushrooms and hash browns that we were told we could swap for the items we didn’t like. Maybe they should tell people they will be charged for the swapped items...

One of the marks of a good cafe is locals, if the locals are using it you are on to a winner.
If you're after a quality breakfast I can vouch that you will find one here. Not greasy, nice thick bread and a decent cuppa. And at a good price.
Breakfast eaters of distinction will find our favs of black pudding and fried bread, we don't eat this to get thin, we eat this to get through the day.
No free parking, but there is a carpark right next to the cafe. Outdoor seating.
Not just breakfast, the menu is varied and open till 4pm.
Sausages, thankfully not those poncy hard meat filled things, your gonna get the traditional cafe Sausage, and they are good.
All in all a great meal, nice place,...
