Lovely pub. Well kept cask Ales. Only one ladies loo which was clean and nicely decorated. Only my 2nd visit, but on both occasions felt welcome and comfortable. Thursday night and no event on so relatively quiet. Felt empathy for the young barmaid who was on her own after only a week in employment there. Obviously well chosen as she coped superbly with all the tasks she had to carry out (including changing barrels) and was the perfect hostess throughout. Hope she is appropriately remunerated for her excellent presentation of this very nice...

The ‘Clicky Regulars’ like hogging the bar when it’s busy. They prop themselves at the bar and don’t like anyone ordering over them. There should be a section of the bar you can’t sit at. Also some bar staff feel inconvenienced when you ask to turn the television on because it will mean someone will ask them to turn their music down so we can actually listen to the sport on tv. It is advertised out the front that there’s live sport. It shouldn’t mean we have to put up with there blaring 80s music. Nice beer...

Lovely small pub, with exemplary bar stuff. Full of locals who knew each other and had tabs open... but the atmosphere was really friendly and welcoming they were a friendly bunch. Beer was good they had local "Shere Drop" which was lovely and well kept. It was not a cluttered pub with plenty of space between furniture and a beer garden. It was a football night when we visited but the fans were friendly and...
