Lovely pub. Well kept cask Ales. Only one ladies loo which was clean and nicely decorated. Only my 2nd visit, but on both occasions felt welcome and comfortable. Thursday night and no event on so relatively quiet. Felt empathy for the young barmaid who was on her own after only a week in employment there. Obviously well chosen as she coped superbly with all the tasks she had to carry out (including changing barrels) and was the perfect hostess throughout.    Read moreThe âClicky Regularsâ like hogging the bar when itâs busy. They prop themselves at the bar and donât like anyone ordering over them. There should be a section of the bar you canât sit at. Also some bar staff feel inconvenienced when you ask to turn the television on because it will mean someone will ask them to turn their music down so we can actually listen to the sport on tv. It is advertised out the front that thereâs live sport. It shouldnât mean we have to put up with there blaring 80s music. Nice beer...
