VEG BOX — Restaurant in Exeter

I was very excited to try vegbox, it was a cold and rainy day so decided to go and get some lunch and a coffee. I bought my latte and was told to wait 15 minutes for my sausage roll. Soon enough it had been over half an hour and I felt I had been forgotten. My boyfriend went to ask if it was ready and it was. I was then handed possibly the smallest sausage roll ever. I then decided it must taste amazing but for £2.50 it tasted like soggy pastry with garlic and herb stuffing balls. The coffee was so creamy from the oat milk that it got sickly and overall I felt a bit robbed for what I got. The people were friendly but doubt I’d return based on the food experience. Not the first time we have visited Veg box, but just had to share my thoughts after the weekends experience. Firstly you don’t have to be vegan, the quality of the food and fresh ingredients are outstanding! Really enjoyed the breakfast wrap and the pancakes we had were delicious 😋 I’m no connoisseur but this place takes its coffee seriously and the long black house roast was lovely!👌🏼 and a nice change from the stuff the large outlets serve. Mrs W had a mocha which went down very well 👌🏼. The location on the quayside is great and if you can get a table in the sunshine it’s a great place to chill 😎 Seriously recommend this...

Can't fault Veg Box, fantastic super friendly efficient service, always with a smile. The quality of food and drink is second to none, with only top quality ingredients used. (prices are extremely reasonable too, especially considering everything is made fresh to order) It's always a good sign when the barista clearly knows there stuff about the coffee, fantastic range of different varieties available. Perfect place to sit in the sun, watch the world go by with fantastic food and drink. Would recommend Veg...
