Myself and my friend both originally went in to do one escape room and walked out doing both of them. (Dazigers and shadow darkens) . Although the building is out of the way from the main city centre it didn’t disappoint. I personally would to thank ‘Charlie :)’ for his amazing hospitality and felt very welcoming. He’s very enthusiastic and goes above and beyond the standard routine of escape rooms. Charlie was a great host and personally it all added to the whole experience. Definitely one of the better hosts we’ve experience. Can’t wait for the next room to be open soon and would love to have this kind of experience again or better. Have been to multiple escape rooms and personally love ‘Dazigers experiment’. As you can see we both escaped both room with just under 10 mins to spare. Completely intact. (LH)

We had a great time escaping from The Danziger Experiment - gently challenging and packed full of fun interactive elements, with puzzles that never felt like you needed to make a wild leap of logic to solve them. Hints, if needed, were only given on request and were gently enough to guide without giving the answer - always appreciated! Would absolutely recommend this to anyone, though fair (spoiler free) warning - one (or some) of the party will have to crawl very briefly, so take this into account if anyone in your group may have an issue with this. Overall a fantastic way to spend a stormy evening in Exeter, and we'll absolutely be back to try the other room very soon!

OMG this place is brilliant! The Danziger Experiment was a brilliant room. Lots of puzzling to do and plenty of teamwork needed. A very well thought out and considered escape room with just the right atmosphere. Will 100% be going back to experience their other one and hope they will keep updating and changing so we can go back time and again. 100% worth a visit for all escape room addicts!

Amazing escape room and lovely friendly staff! We've played 80+ games and this is up there with the best.

Angel was a delight, and was kind enough to spend ages talking to us after the game about the local area and recommending brilliant places near-by. Above and beyond hosting!

Lots of fun, original puzzles, with great variety and interesting ideas. Not just the same old standards it's common to see repackaged at less good rooms.

Loved the theming, story and art of the games, which all tie into wider interlinking stories set in the same alternative world. We played The Danziger Experiment as a team of 2 - the room is firmly on the harder side. We're experienced but far from expert players and this was an ideal level of difficulty. We got to discover and enjoy all the puzzles on our own but wouldn't have got out without asking for a few hints.

Couldn't ask for more - an easy 5 stars. Highly...

We did an escape room for my friends hen do on 28th Jan. Overall, the experience was good, however it unfortunately ended on a bit of a bad note when one of the last puzzles that we were attempting to solve was faulty causing us not being able to escape. I think the guy could have communicated with us to say that we were on the right lines and to keep trying as the third light on the puzzle was dodgy and gave us a bit more time rather than abruptly knocking to say that we were out of time and apologising that the light that we were trying figure out was temperamental. If there was a known problem with the room then this should have been communicated and/or extra time allowed as we left feeling very frustrated, having been so very close...
